Here he is, HMS123311 in it's most* former glory ported to SRB2 v2.2. With everything you know and love about HMS to boot!

Known Bugs:
  • Some mobjs are deleted/killed on contact if not on a whitelist

Fixed the broken "tunes default" call.

Complete code refactor
Chaos Control has minimal support for "breaking" glass FOFs. No visual effect for it, but HMS can remove their solidity.
Bugs with adding HMS in the middle of a netgame have been fixed.
Bugs with switching skins from HMS have been fixed.
Fancy sparks from 1.09.4 have been ported successfully.
Added some extra entries to the whitelist script.
Made mobj kill detection a lot better.
HMS doesn't endlessly rise when dying.
Removed footcancer. Again.
More bugfixes, most of which I forgot.
HMS is disabled in ringslinger gametypes. I shouldn't have to point out why it would be a bad idea to keep him enabled.

Almost every single bug has been fixed by Katmint! Now you can enjoy recolor glory in peace!
Whitelist updated. Should no longer cause issues in ERZ3 and NiGHTS mode.
Abilities will no longer function in ringslinger gametypes.
Frame-freeze after finishing the level have been fixed.
All instances of super transform loops have been fixed.
Removed footcancer.
Version 1.0
Initial Release.

Lol i cant wait for maps that take advantage of his abilities, like long stretches of nothing / alternate routes to take when you noclip over a floor or don't.

Would be neat to see

I have been getting this too. It happened once when physically touching a badnik, and every other time seems to have something to do with touching objects related to the minecarts (But not the minecarts themselves, since he can't ride in them as far as I can tell).

My guess is it's related to whatever part of the code causes him to despawn certain objects that touch him. These parts of the code weren't made with the new things in AC2 in mind and I suppose weren't updated to account for them, leading to the error. That is however just my best guess.

HMS is an old purposefully overpowered, definitely ironic character. Besides, a serious character certainly wouldn't have a resistance to toe stubbing in their ability list.

There are a few SIGSEGV's in Arid Canyon, mainly when touching minecart gates or those turtle guys (only one in AC1 caused it though). Regardless, levels like Deep Sea 2 or Arid Canyon 1 are easy to beat if you have a somewhat-direct line to the finish (i.e. going out of bounds to get to further-ahead caves).
