Why does this show up whenever I make a map, I'm genuinely confused if a WAD in my resource is not saving properly.

You selected the wrong configuration. Commonly the configuration name is "Sonic Robo Blast 2 (UDMF)".

If it crashes, make sure your map needs to have at least 2 sectors

some things have changed BUT you can change the controls back, its what i did personally.

UZB's script editor does not work in the SRB2 configuration yet. You'll have to use SLADE to do that instead. In SLADE, click Archive > New Entry and make a text file named MAINCFG.

So I made/built this on my Linux PC but when I turned on Visual mode, I noticed that my mouseview wouldnt stop spinning round and round while also moving up and down any time I would move my mouse. I don't recall this being an issue for me in 0.6 (maybe it was and i forgot) but I was wondering if anyone has heard or knows about this and if it can be dealt with.

UZB has been updated on the gitlab repository. Might want to try building and test again
