The Story of Uncapped Revengence Discord the 3rd v4.1.0

Just a question before I download:
Do custom builds have different servers than normal srb2? I mainly wanna download this to see which servers I can and can't go to between builds.

Lmao, that's my SRB2 username when I'm in mp-
I like to scale down to 0.3 or 0.2, become Fang, turn Green, and call myself "THE GOOFIEST OF RATS!!! :333", lmao.

The game seems to crash when compiled with CMake for some reason
Here's the full backtrace

I also am running on Pop! OS 22.04 LTS and this problem does not seem to happen when compiling with Makefiles

No, there still is something going on. The goop gif in your original post is brown, and it is still supposed to be pink in OpenGL.

Also, the water gif from that original post is gray. Even though dessaturated, OpenGL water is still supposed to look blue. And the gif from the second post reinforces it. See, the water did tint Sonic & Tails in OpenGL, as it is supposed to, except they are tinted GRAY - the color of the water.

I’ve been always using OpenGL and it never looked like that.

(cant demonstrate right now cuz im not on the pc)
idk....
download the latest version of srb2 from the website (portable .zip) and try it out in Greenflower
whenever you're using OpenGL, the water looks stagnant and less blue
but thats not the case in OpenGL

For the author of the build to see:
Theres a problem with coronas that causes apparitions of rings and some other objects

Well thank goodness it is actually a problem ^^;
sucks that i seem to be the only one who's run into it though :/
Try playing on OpenGL in the normal game build and you will see for yourself. I also recommend you do that so we can all be sure this problem is specific to tSoURDt3rd.

this is a new installation from the website
the gif starts in Software, then switches to OpenGL
this almost seems like its only an issue on my end...
ive tried reinstalling SRB2 and that hasnt fixed the issue.

Wait. They aren’t tinted inside the water in OpenGL. They have never been supposed to. I said bs. I’m so stupid lol

Now, on to the final check: you should probably check if the THZ goop is pink

If it is, then it’s indeed a problem with the build

The custom build: (while getting this gif, i also ran into a bug where vertical camera movement via controller would cause weird stretching, but i cannot recreate it)

Now we know the problem is indeed the build.

When I loaded the 4.0 exe, I was given an error saying i needed a tsourdt3rdextras.pk3 file. Where can I find this at? Is it ok if i take the one from the 4.0 Beta Redux?

It is supposed to be in the zip file you downloaded from the latest update, not the beta.

But I still havent downloaded it, so im not quite sure. Try searching for it in the zip file from the last update, and if you cant, well, try the one from the beta zip

I wouldnt risk that tho, dont know if it may cause problems or anything like that

well for some reason it didnt come in the zip file for me

Ay, I appreciate all the help and bug reports you guys have been giving me. I've been working on some things for a a few hours now, so don't think that I've just been sitting around and relaxing. I'll try and have something out by tomorrow, so keep an eye out for that, but otherwise, thanks for all the bug reports and all the help and support you guys have been giving me, and if you run into anything else, just keep the bug reports coming.
