ive been missing out on this mod so hard omg
easily one of the most fun srb2 mods
breaking news: sonic fan learns that mario is indeed a fun video game character to play as
jokes aside i whole-heartedly agree lol
 
This was just not true, it was a addon mistake I made, put them in the wrong order making it where the kick lacked a hitbox

To clarify; N64 Mario is one of my favorite character mods on the site, seeing him get his brother in on the N64 Promo action is nothing but sweet for me! Luigi himself looks really good so far even for just a base model and a ever powerful T-pose! but I do have a question- rather about (if you have a base idea or can come up with one on the spot) what do you think your going with the overall gameplay style for N64 Luigi? Are you going to go with a Mario Bros. mod direction and make him a "clone" of N64 Mario but with some Luigi flair on top? or are you going to deviate from Mario and have Green 'Stache do a little more of his own thing while still keeping theme of what is to be now "N64 Promo Pack" or something like that?

An a example of what I mean is something like Luigi picking up more stuff from Mario games of that time or his own games like a theoretical Luigi's Mansion 64, or pick up the pieces that N64 Mario decided to omit, like a long jump or dive. Curious to hear your ideas/thoughts :wonderful:

V3.4 - Polish the Plumber

Here's a small interim update to play with as I've been tinkering with this mod a lot after making the Ring Racers N64 Promo Bros. mod.

  • Redone crouch sliding to be drawangle-dependent.
  • Fixed the Slide Kick and Crouch conflicting with pain states.
  • Reordered the code to overall be more efficient in terms of hooks. The Triple Jump counter has been made more lenient to account for this.
  • Mario's victory theme now plays when he fails to reach the ground.
  • The Ground Pound...

I found a bug, don't know if its just my copy of SRB2, but with N64 Mario loaded, all water sliding sprites and models for all other characters are their spindash sprite/model, this is not the case when hurt. I'm able to replicate the bug with the only mod on being N64 Mario, Is this a known bug or is something wrong with specifically my game.
 
The Lunge jump is the Long Jump and Dive mixed together, no need

If you're gonna ask for the long jump, might as well ask for the crouch attack, crouch slide attack, backflip, sideflip, double jump, triple jump, jab 1-2-3, jump kick, and whatever sm64 mario's moveset is.

I suppose this is an SRB2-ified mario 64 moveset
the sm64 moveset isnt in an n64 styled mario mod? what kind of mod is this
