Espio (2021)

Espio (2021) 2.1

what charmy mod?
I think they're referring to that unofficial port of both charmy and vector from 2.1 to 2.2 by Ploopy, But they said vector is needed so they MUST be referring to something else if it isn't that Ploopy mod, If so, Then I need it. Ask the owner if you can share the mod first though!

No I mean the personal pets mod.

Charmy is in the Personal pets mod, as a pet

I think the one thing I have to say about Espio after playing him for a while is how his wall cling/run works. I'd prefer to just press and hold Jump against a wall you're facing and automatically latch onto it without having to press Up, then you use the movement keys to navigate afterwards.

I also attempted the THZ2 Knuckles path as Espio (someone opened it in a netgame and I thought why not) and it went as well as I thought it would.

I datamined and edited Espio to have Focus Jump (archived ability), disabling his Charge Jump (current ability) since ive never heard of focus jump. I was just curious to know what it was about, so the ability is basically...

Destroying a monitor or badnik will make an orb circle around you, the height of your double jump is increased the more orbs you have. When using the double jump, all of your orbs are used.

Is this allowed to datamine somebody else's work?

Im pretty sure its ok to datamine, but showing others edits (like screenshots of it), releasing or hosting with it, or anything else is bad. I do wonder if about the focus jump, was it a new ability that they archived because of charge jump, or did it originally come from another espio?

So, I accidentally found out that if you release the Charged Jump as soon as Espio touches water, he bounces up w a y higher than he normally can. The timing is somewhat tight.
