SuperColors Revamp

[Open Assets] SuperColors Revamp v2.1

Heya everyone, Icy here. After a bit of time I can post this update that was originally just gonna be menu fixes, but thankfully managed to be a little more than that. Changelog is as follows:

srb20096.gif

- Added 13 new supercolors!
  • - Yellow
  • - Abyssal
  • - Singer
  • - Divine
  • - Pear
  • - Phantom
  • - Terraria
  • - Celeste
  • - Kurai
  • - Hallowed
  • - Unlimited
  • - Slayer
  • - Virtua

- Refactored Sol form support, now it works 95% regardless of load order (afterimages may not be colored properly depending on the load order.)
- Introduced a blacklist for follow objects. This makes it so that if mod makers want to add specific compatibility (and make it so certain things don't get colored), they now can. In the mod itself this only affects Metal Sonic's follow object by default.
- Minorly adjusted how brightly the 'Advance' supercolor flashes.
- Menu update! Changes are as follows:
  • - Controls have been notably refactored, the menu now being bound to 'Fire Normal' by default and having a hold timer. You also have to be standing still to open it now.
  • - You'll now be invulnerable while in the menu, and will appear visibly translucent.
  • - Holding the menu button will display a hud indicator courtesy of SuperPhanto.
  • - There is now proper controller support due to different input detection.
  • - The menu is now completely netgame safe. Rejoice.

That's all for now. Until next time~
Hey folks, Icy here.
Due to the fact that the current netgame issues with the menu are not something I can fix myself, for now I have prepared a version of v2 without the menu attached. Please use it if you want to add the mod to servers for the time being. When the next update releases this version with no menu will be removed as it will no longer be needed.
Heya everyone. This update was originally just gonna include a few more colors but I thought "nah, let's make this more interesting." What started as me asking the community for colors they may want to make/include turned into a definitive major update for this mod. Changelog is as follows:

(There was gonna be a GIF here, except the message board refused to upload it. Lovely... I'll just detail the controls here instead, you can find them on the hopefully updated overview, too.)
- By default, use [Toss Flag] to open the menu. The button to open/close the menu can be changed using the 'supercolor_rebind' command. If you want to make your own, personalized bind (or don't feel like usin' a button at all), the 'supercolor_menu' command also toggles the menu!
- Use the controls for the camera to move in the menu (arrow keys by default on keyboard), and move left/right keys to rotate the view of your character. In case you prefer it (like me) though, you can press the [Center View] button to swap the function of the camera/movement buttons.
- Navigating up/down will go through the list for the current category, while navigating left/right will switch categories. Press jump to select your color of choice once you land on it. Holding spin will let you move through menu choices in chunks (turning the color names in between your current choice and one you'll land on a red color), in case you don't wanna mash to death through the menu.
- Wherever applicable, pressing the backspace key in the menu will instantly direct you to the default supercolor for your character. This was done due to the multiplayer color menu doing the same thing (if you didn't know, you know now!)

- OH MY GOD THERE'S A MENU NOW (activate it with [Toss Flag] by default.)
- Fixed a bug with the Advance supercolor that prevented the flashing from working as intended in netgames
- Made it so the Advance supercolor's flicker effect properly follows Super SA-Sonic at times it used to break
- Implemented support for Hyper SA-Sonic
- Added the following supercolors:
  • - Pseudo
  • - Slate
  • - Lime
  • - Wind
  • - Amethyst
  • - Prismarine
  • - Shimmering
  • - Betacarotene
  • - Lightning
  • - Spectrum
  • - LemonLime
  • - Festive
  • - VoidReborn
  • - Brimstone
  • - Xenomite
  • - PrimeSoul
  • - BurningHeart
  • - Aurora
  • - MistyRuby
  • - Cyberspace
  • - Paradox
-* Color choices from Super Mystic Sonic! Including...
  • - GoldenShine
  • - Crisis
  • - Antimatter
  • - Priest
  • - BlueWave
  • - ArcticChi
  • - Ranger
  • - PinkMenace
  • - Metallic
  • - HazelGlow
  • - UltraDrive
  • - LapisVapor
  • - AzureBreaker
  • - Emperor
  • - Blue
  • - Mystical
  • - Transformation
  • - Flamebreaker
  • - InfinitysEnd

This is the last planned update for this mod, I really hope you all enjoy it~
  • Cool!

I accidentally left a debug print active... so as of now it should no longer spam 'fuck' in the console if you end up getting a game over.

That's all, apologies for the sudden hotfix.
Heya. Sol forms are now properly supported and there's a new 'Advance' super color based upon the one that SA-Sonic has that flashes similarly to the Advance games (it IS a bit flashy, though...) That's all. Enjoy.

Heya! This update was originally gonna just fix super ghost behaviors, but it's a little more than that now. Changelog!
- Made it so ghosts get their color set more efficiently. Thanks to Mari0shi06 for originally pitching it to me.

- Normal colors! Now you can prepend 'n_' to your argument to use a regular skin color. Recommended for SA-Sonic or if you're not feeling flashy.

That's all, enjoy!~
