S3 Sonic has made his way to Sonic Robo Blast 2 to help Sonic and co. to defeat Eggman once more.

DISCLAIMER: Use the command "s3_menu" to easily modify the mod's options instead of manually typing out the other commands.

Insta-Shield:

The Insta-Shield tags along S3 Sonic as pressing jump mid-air will protect you from hazards and attacks briefly, as long as you don't have a shield on. Otherwise, he'd activate the shield's respective ability with the jump button, unlike other characters.

Spindash:

Like in the Genesis games, pressing spin will not make Sonic automatically start a spindash. Instead, he will start crouching which in turn would require you to press jump to initialize it, continually mashing it will result in a stronger spindash.

Physics: Being from another game, S3 Sonic's physics are a tad different. You will have at times readjust your movement to accommodate his heavier gravity. He has more air control, accelerates slower, and has a higher jump.

Interactions: S3 Sonic can interact with various things, most notably Arid Canyon's gimmicks. Pressing spin on a minecart will make it accelerate much faster, and pressing movement keys on a rope pulley will speed or slow down S3 Sonic correspondingly.

Camera: Looking up with Custom 1 or crouching with spin after a while will prompt the camera to either zoom out or aim depending on your settings.

It's important to keep in mind that when Battle Mod is enabled, S3 Sonic's shield key will be remapped back to spin, so that he can Insta-Shield regardless of having a shield or not.

Boom Kick:

Pressing fire on the ground will make you do the Flying Kick move from the rom-hack Sonic Boom, thrusting you forwards at an incredible speed, at the cost of having control.

Super Spin Attack:

Pressing fire mid-air will prompt Sonic to do a buffed Insta-Shield attack, which greatly increases the radius of it.

After getting all 7 Chaos Emeralds Getting tokens will let you Get Super Emeralds.

Beat the level without taking a hit to get a Super Emerald.
You will lose the Ability to go Super Sonic until you get all 7 Super Emeralds.

Trying to go Super with all 7 Super Emeralds will let you go Hyper Sonic

- S3 Sonic can keep rings and shields across different levels.
- S3 Sonic can build up momentum from slopes without having to spin.
- S3 Sonic has the original power-up songs (Invincibility, and Super) from Sonic 3.
- S3 Sonic's transformation button is remapped to jump instead of spin.
- S3 Sonic gets 50 rings from Tokens if you have all Emeralds.

Overall, a decent mod. However, the method of spindashing feels a little awkward and it SUCKS that the Super Emeralds (which can take a LOT of farming, depending on level) don't save upon returning to the title screen, unlike another character mod that uses custom Emeralds (RushChars). Hopefully, the latter can be addressed in a future update (this being a manjor gripe of mine. And ik about the "getallsuperemeralds" command, but if you've already gotten all super emeralds legit once, you should just.... have them and not have to use the command)

for some reason super emeralds don't save and upon reopening the game they are gone, aside from that the mod is fine

That kinda good idea and kinda good mod but there one thing I hate when you want do spindash you have to hold shift and press or spam space ngl good mod but please make menu for making free spindash like normal sonic can do it I like that mod thanks

I love how much in control I feel with this character! I love how high his jump is and how strong the spindash is! Such a simple but I already feel like doing a second run with him! It might be because Sonic 3 is my favorite Sonic game, but I feel right at home with his physics. Thank you for this mod!
