Serves it's purpose! Every one of these maps has something interesting going for it.(Minus Hangout Beach) Social Valley is absolutely huge and has some cool apartments. Disco City is a shabby little city, cities are always fun. Character Test has the most stuff to do. Still, there's plenty of room for improvement if you're down for it!
Interactable elements are what really give a hangout map lasting appeal. Mini-challenges/minigames, objects you can influence, buttons, jukeboxes, that sort of stuff. Most of these maps do decently on the visual aspect. Like, all the apartments are cool to check out. But these maps atm mostly just come down to running around mindlessly to oggle stuff.
Hangout maps don't need a specific "goal", but they stand out more if there's stuff to do imo. Or at least some unique/extra-polished set pieces that make people wanna go to that map to hang out and chat.
So, if you ever work on this more...that'd be on -my- most wanted list!
Theres always something new that gets found or appear suddenly into my mind as i play them, at least in places which i know need a rework, yet i didnt knew what to do previously
