this mod makes crushers and death pits do damage instead of insta killing.
on the "bounce" setting, death pits will launch you out based on the momentum you had when falling in, and give you an extra use of your ability to recover. falling into a death pit again without touching the ground first will result in the normal behavior.
on the "teleport" setting, death pits will teleport you back to your last grounded position.

note that the physics can behave strangely sometimes with the crusher leniency. from my tests, vertical crushers generally work fine while more horizontal ones can act strangely, such as those found in ERZ2. there's also a horizontal crusher in DSZ2 that i think is set up to damage you with the generic insta kill type rather than crush damage. i put an anti-softlock measure into the mod to kill you if you get stuck, so (hopefully lol) it'll be fine.
