The process behind these models was having something that resembled well what we would expect them to look ingame, it was balance between the japanese artworks and in-game sprites~

Use "Sometimes" instead of "Always", Sometimes is developer's cut over what interpolates and what doesn't, it's per say, the intended way for interpolation.

Knuckles had it's own set of challenges, Knuckles himself, compared to the others, seems to be more 3D "friendly" but his dreads are a nightmare to get rigged properlly, having knuckles to reach all the animation needs was a all out war!

I did find some that would state that these models made them re-experience Robo Blast 2. It really made me happy.
I am eager do to a comeback, maybe even in this year~
