Find Entry in Archive - SLADE script

[Open Assets] Find Entry in Archive - SLADE script V1.1

What permissions do you give others to modify and/or maintain your submission?
Modify: YES - Maintain: YES - I give permission for my entire submission to be modified by others or used in their own work. I give permission for my entire submission to be maintained by others as well.
The Easiest SLADE script to use!
(...probably)

General Usage
  • Run the script, usually by right-clicking any entry, the blank area of the archive, or by selecting the Entry tab near SLADE's window title, as follows:

  • Just input an entry name, like so...

  • And voilà , provided the name you input was correct, it will find and return the first entry that matches the name you input!
    • You can even directly open the lump too, if you choose to do so.

And that's it!
Literally extremely simple!
Meant to be used with SLADE v3.2+!

(...the only hard part may be installing it, but I have that covered for you too!)

INSTALLATION STEPS
  1. Put the script in your SLADE3 directory, under the entry subfolder in the scriptsfolder.
    • The SLADE3 directory is usually found under
      • A. %APPDATA%\SLADE3, on Windows.
      • B. .slade3 on Linux/Linux-like systems, usually under either the users' main home folder or the .local/share folder.
    • Basically, the folder should resemble something like this:

  2. That's it! You did it!
