Aero Moon 8A update:

It’s almost the end of the month, so I figured I'd share a new patch for the map pack.

-Some of the maps feature the CAS Track Pack logo, and I mean some. Will be planning to do more in the near future.
-Fixed the checkpoint bug in Battleship Harbor, mostly at the wrecked ship section.
-Added some adjustments in Jade Glade Zone. Like a new Sneaker panel near the end of the finish line.
-Detail improvements in both the first two maps of the Laser Cup.

And we continue with the Aero Moon update, bringing in more stuff for the current update. Aero Moon 8 of the CAS Track Pak finally introduces an original course to the Eagle Cup!

Welcome to Jade Glade Zone. With inspiration to Sega Rally and even the track Sakura Forest (which still needs to be remade), you drive around this vast open forest and head through waterfalls, a deep forest, and a cave. The beginning of the Eagle Cup tests your challenge.

Other changes include more songs added for Midnight Bay Streets and Nimbus Arena.

I hope you enjoy Jade Glade Zone!

Well it has been over a week, but I wanted to give a hotfix with 7c.

  1. Delfino Coast has that issue resolved involving the shortcut by the tunnel if NPCs are stuck. But it might be problematic for the Encore variant.
  2. Resolved the music issue for Polar Paradise Zone.
  3. Changed the number of Combat UFOs for Sky Harbor from one to four. Also, the center is no longer the only one as it is placed on the main parts of the map.
Enjoy!
Damn, another one after 7a, well here's another hotfix which is 7b.

  • Fixed the waypoint issue for Delfino Coast.
  • One of the Combat UFOs in Sky Spire is on the ground, fixed it to make it in the air. Also placed some more on the map.
  • Puyo Puyo Arena has received some updates with the checkpoint tags and added more fencing on parts of the course.
And here we go......, a hotfix.

This resolves the issue involving Pack 4:
-I fixed the issue involving the blue corners of Nimbus Arena, which cause a deathpit. They are removed.

-When playing the Eagle Cup in GP, you only have 3 maps instead of 4. This is because I only have 4 maps available since I haven't worked on another map for months, and Nimbus Arena is not there. To resolve this, Joypolis Zone will be used as the final map for the cup temporarly until an original map is made.

-Puyo Puyo Arena's first song is resolved.

Thank you for your patronage.
Well, it’s been a while, right? Now that everything is in order, I'd like to release the Aero Moon 7 update, which has some new stuff for your enjoyment!

-All the battle maps received some updates, like the addition of Combat UFOs that you’ll find on any of the maps. Dolphin Temple, on the other hand, received some new additions like a new theme, as well as various layout changes. Sky Harbor, on the other hand, has removed the platforms and made the spawns in the octagonal arena. No more repeated deaths during overtime.

-A new cup has been added, the Eagle Cup! The tracks that I placed on hold, such as Puyo Puyo Arena and Midnight Bay Streets, finally have a home now! Enjoy! Oh, and Nimbus Arena has received a new look!

As for the existing maps on all tracks:
-Battleship Harbor finally receives an Encore variant; can you survive the storm?

-I decided to remove the voice for the Frutiger Aeropolis tracks; it could be annoying. But if you want me to bring it back, lemme know if there’s enough demand for those. I still have it in the files. Oh, and we got another new song from the Frutiger Aeropolis Radio line included in Act 1, this time by TeckGeck, so I hope you’ll enjoy his new score included!

-I added a new intro theme for BSOD Ring, probably from an old Flash game I found. And speaking of BSOD Ring, the entire center wall is now a floor, but don’t touch it, or you’ll pay the price.

-Sapphire Mountain has got some new Checkpoint signs and various changes. The billboard ads were done by Ruberjig, so I thank you.

-Donburi Skyway’s fortress has been improved, mostly with more ceiling space.

-Some songs were removed for the regular packs and the alternate music pack; they probably weren’t to my tastes. But I did, however, bring in some new songs for your enjoyment on the packs, including a few I brought in from a game I played.

-Good-bye, ice roads. Saturn Starway’s ice sections are turned into normal roads.

-Texture fixes for Delfino Coast.

-A new sprite for the Emotion Engine stages, replacing the old one with the logo of the now-closed PlayStation Stars. The legacy lives on in the stages.

How are you all doing everyone? I'm just checking up on you all so no worry. I'm seeing you all playing the map packs, but I haven't been updating the pack for awhile since April. But don't worry, we're working on Aero Moon 7. This update will be bringing back four maps and features coming to the battle maps that I didn't include for quite awhile until now, along with some new stuff. Still working on the maps, so I might be able to release the update later this month.

Until then, enjoy!

Sorry about the post, I forgot to add in Pak 1. So here it is, with Pak 1 included and all the map packs are up to Aero Moon 6.

Just about time with the 2nd anniversary of Ring Racers release. And I knew it's been almost 2 years since the launch of the CAS Track Pak. So, here's some updated changes.

-Polar Paradise has some updated changes with the addition of green lights on the dash panels, mostly to blend with the blue tint and on encore mode.
-One of the capsules in Sky Spire has been raised.

I hope when I get to start on my next map, then be ready!
There was an issue so I managed to fix it.

Forgot to update Frutiger 2 as there was a mishap, preventing racers when exiting the subway route to the jump.
