I suggest this ability is jump+spin instead of jump+jump, sonic's supposed to be fast, and completely removing the ability to go fast instantly (not talking about the thok specifically, it could be any ability like a insta-charging peelout or something.) so i think if this addon keeps sonic's thok instead of replacing it, it would be much better, for now i'd rather use climbdash. Other than that its a great addon.
