This mod made me play SRB2

I've never liked SRB2 because the slippery physics (Which honnestly is mostly skill issue from me) but my friend Recommended me to play this game again, and introduced me to mods, the first mod he showed was SA Sonic, I've loved this game ever since :)

Okay, so this addon was really worth the hype. It's one of the best things to come out of this game, and the kind of mod that first got me into its modding scene. I love every single bit of it!
I've got some suggestions though:
*Make an option to have an SA2 style Light Dash, so instead of charging up you can just tap Spin to dash. This would make it way more useful. Also possibly a Somersault option? It isn't the most useful thing, specially in SRB2, but it would be neat to see, specially if it came with its fire upgrade and could break Knuckles walls or something.
*Make Sonic able to use jump abilities from springs. You're able to do this in the Adventure games, or at least SA1, I'm not so sure about SA2.
*This one is a minor thing, but it's an idea I had that could be pretty dope. If you have an Attraction or Lightning Shield, it would be neat if the Light Speed Attack's trail changed to the one from Sonic Heroes' Team Sonic Team Blast.

GOD this has got to be one of the BEST SRB2 mods I have ever had the honor of downloading and using. The title says it all! It plays and feels JUST like SA1/2 Sonic (considering it's a mix) 10/10 One of the, if not, best mods.

SA was my first Sonic game and always held a special place to me, so this mod is absolutely outstanding. I do however have one question how do I get the cosmetics for sonic to change from SA to SA2 right now his shoes are SA I'm trying to get them to change to no avail.

Watching the development of this has been great, and to see it finally released is just surreal at this point. This addon is truly fantastic from the spritework to how he plays. Amazing job all around.

you LITERALLY cant hate this

SA-Sonic is every bit the legend he was supposed to be when it came out. There are no words to discuss how grateful we are, Metalwario, Golden Shine, and everyone else who helped work on this masterpiece. This alone helps prove why Sonic Robo Blast 2 is the definitive sonic fangame, and how bright its future is moving forward. Now let's Live & Learn from this and continue to Open our Hearts out! Man, I can't even begin to describe how well made this character is.

In a sea of Sonics, this one really does stand out on his own, and is honestly my favorite so far. Been an adventure fan since first completing SADX, and seeing so much attention to detail as well as translating both adventure movesets into SRB2's enviroment is a very impressive achievement.

That aside, it's filled with charm and love that I always love to see in mods. You two are a dangerous combo, and I can't wait to see what y'all cook up next!

My most anticipated SRB2 character addon is here, and I've finally had a chance to give it the old college try!

The moveset for Adventure Sonic is an amazing blend of both SA1 and SA2, with some great QOL improvements such as the little trail that shows you exactly where you're going when you're spin dashing. And in spite of being such an expansive feeling moveset, it never feels overly complicated and doesn't require a ton of buttons. Feels right at home on a controller!

He feels so accurate to SA2's physics that I'm almost astounded. The amount of time and effort that it must have took to make him feel just right really paid off, as a ton of my SA2 reflexes translated wonderfully into this character mod.

And the spritework-- my god, the spritework. It's amazing! Adventure Sonic is one of the most expressive feeling character addons I've seen, and that's saying a lot with the huge amount of quality characters out there. Little details such as the tricks he does after a homing attack really add that extra level of polish to him.

Overall, this is absolutely worth the download. It's insane just how high quality it is and I'm definitely going to keep it loaded in every single one of my netgames going forward. This is one of the all time greats for sure. Thank you so much for such a wonderful addon!

Good but when I updated to 2.2.13, his model wouldn't appear. Why?

This mod is so dang fun!!! I love it, I do but I have one problem how do I activate the sa1 menu

From 1 year of waiting was atleast worth it.
And also i'm here to report a bug:
Everytime i'm running and then i release SpinDash one time, Adventure Sonic (AKA SA-Sonic) becomes ultra fast for no reason.
Although the addon is great.
I give it a 5 star rating!

Its so good.... Ill never stop playing srb2 ever again...

I love the physics, the way he loses speed in the air just gives the Sonic Adventure physics feel. Great Job!

The moves are just has janky has before and being tested in a speedy area I can confidently say this is super outstanding

Grabbing onto the ledge of a platform has changed my life forever

this is so cool it's much better all the sa abillties are mashup
but what about the somersault and the magic gloves
but still an awesome mod
