Adventure Sonic (v1.8b)

Adventure Sonic (v1.8b) v1.8b

you really did great with this mod he controls perfectly and is all around a great experience however the invincibility lags quite a lot in software and OpenGL. I'm Still giving a five star because that isn't your fault.

This mod is Amazing the pro's are that. this mod has so much polish and the bounce bracelet, the light dash and the homering attack feels just like it came out of Adventure 1&2 and there more Advanced Tricks for more skilled players

But the Cons are... that you can't save what you selected in the SAmenu and the Sadx, Sa2 and the Advance colors in the SAmenu instead of holding custom 1&2&3 buttons

but it still a awesome mod

This is one of the most polished characters i've ever seen, with silky smooth animations and well replicated effects the gameplay of this mod is already perfect.

Except uh, theres a few things that happened a launch that kind of annoyed me at launch, first off being the fact that despite being able to use samenu to customize your spin trail, you have to redo it each game session, since it wont save.

The other thing got fixed already and it was that this character used, way too many objects, if there was a way for server owners to set a cap on how many objects sa sonic can spawn, it would be great, but you already somewhat nerfed it, so i aint complaining.

Probably one of the most exciting times in srb2 for me, it's like when pointy sonic dropped for 2.1, BUT we get the most quality oldc ever since it's revival, AND you somehow managed to get a release date to work out.

you madman, this is amazing.

Great, but the drowning animations are messed up?

Running in place and going nowhere underwater is a reference to Sonic X. It's a fun little placeholder until Metalwario gets a dedicated drowning animation done.

Nice mod, man this is so damn accurate to sa1, I literally felt like I was playin the og game lol. 2401/10

...only ooooone small issue I haven't seen noted yet. As well as on pc, I got this mod on mobile, and I got to the Greenflower boss. I hit him a couple times, but then it said somethin like. 'An unfortunate LUA processing error has occurred.', then the game closed. My game was completely fine afterwards, same for the mod, but I just wanted to point something out for mobile players.

Other than that small issue, yeah the mods cool as fuck, I'd recommend this to like everyone I know lol.

Nice mod! The move set and playstyle are what I expected, and I also like that there a menu to customize the playstyle and other stuff! I wouldn't recommend this guy for speed running though.

This mod is a beast, like actually a beast just look the sprites, moves and controls it's so good! Played like a actually adventure game. This has to be my second most favorite mod ever, this guy is on the best mod in Srb2 history, great job on this one my dude's.

As an Adventure fan, this really does a great job recreating the playstyle Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 brought to the table many years ago. The sprites done for this are incredible and well polished. The cutaway when you complete a stage is based, and controlling this feels almost 1:1, he gains way too much acceleration when going down slopes but that could just be me.

I would've also liked to see that menu option somewhere in the Release post instead of asking people on the SRB2 Discord where to find it but that's just a small nitpick.

Really glad that I played this. This is awesome and one of the best versions of Sonic we have here on the MB to date.

Thanks for the heads up! The launch was unfortunately pretty rushed, partly due to the holidays and my inexperience with releasing mods, but thanks to your feedback, I added the samenu command to the main post, as it slipped my mind and has important features for people with photo-sensitivity.

This has to be one of, if not, the best Sonic mod since Modern Sonic. I've never played the Adventure games in my life, but from what I heard, it's one of Modern Sonic's finest 3D outings, and thanks to this mod, I might give the original duology a go sometime! I have a feeling this is going to be the next "hot new Sonic mod" for a long, LONG time.

This is by far the best character mod for SRB2 since MotdSpork's Modern Sonic. The only things that could be worth changing is the light dash being instant and mapped to a separate button. Also, I want a 3D model for this guy but sadly, there isn't one as of yet. This is the first review I have ever posted to this site so please understand why I'm not experienced.
