One of the best srb2 mods i have played its so good i never play the game without it unless im testing one of my mods i have never encountered bugs or glitches the only thing close is a glitch with jeck jim's 3d models on this character and thats a seperate addon entirely couldnt recommend any less it does what its meant for, introducing players to controller in a induitive way i cant explain how much this mod does so right so do me a favor and go try it out for yourself
I've never liked SRB2 because the slippery physics (Which honnestly is mostly skill issue from me) but my friend Recommended me to play this game again, and introduced me to mods, the first mod he showed was SA Sonic, I've loved this game ever since :)
Absolutely amazing, somehow more impressive and cooler than the modern sonic mod, the attention to detail is unreal, the light speed attack is just as if not cooler than it is in Adventure 2 Battle, and way more functional this time, not to mention the super form playing EXACTLY the same as SA2 and by extension it's "go super anywhere" mod, even down to being able to switch between flying like in the Bio Hazard fight and running like normal gameplay.
Hey amazing mod but what are Sonic's co-op comands?
A guy on multiplayer gave me a shield and i can't find him again and no one else seems to know how to give shields
I tried everthing i even found how to grant skip free scrap and make marine fly higher
Normally I'm not super into add-on characters for playing SRB2. They might be gimmicky, OP, or just a novelty that wears off after a while. Normally, I'm not even interested enough to give a review. But this add-on is different.
The careful thought and balancing that went into this is incredible. The control is sublime and is just a joy to exist as. He's powerful and he does break some level design, but not any more than a vanilla character like Tails would. The difference is in the way Adventure Sonic breaks levels, where a character like Tails just slowly flies around, Adventure Sonic still has to maneuver dynamically, still making traversal exciting and fun.
This was clearly made with love and respect for the Adventure era of Sonic and what the gameplay style brought to the table while being considerate of how that fits into SRB2 level design conventions.
It's so well made it has become my defacto way to enjoy SRB2, and as someone who rarely wholly enjoys add-on characters, that's an impressive feat. Absolutely fantastic character add-on.
