X Sonic

X Sonic v1.1c

Well if it puts me in a spindash state from the air I'm pretty sure thats a drop dash.
no?? by that logic then that means the ring burst is a drop dash. which it clearly isn't.
so I guess sonjc generations has no drop dash and nor does the genesis games thats a drop roll according to you then
what point are you trying to make here? also, can you send footage of this so called "drop dash" you're talking about?

his comment feels ironic considering the sonic generations remaster got 2 drop dashes for both sonics lol

As long as its in air and I pull that movement off its considered a drop dash

Do you mean this, perhaps? Technically it's not a drop dash because it doesn't charge.

It's a drop dash it carries becasue with out it, it would sit there in a ball and do nothing, its still a drop dash nonetheless
carries because you were moving along before touching the ground? the drop dash lets you roll by a stand still

shine called it a "dropdash" with quotes a little before the release of the mod so id say its fine to call it that
well alr then just feels wrong bcs of what i already said about the dropdash
but i dont wanna drag this argument further so im just gonna end it here

you noted games that came out before mania even released so this point is also sorta invalid

Whats that mean by games before mania

Why doesn't anyone read the overviews for mods?
There is no drop dash. You'd know both that and how you spindash if you read the overview.
Bold of you assuming I can read.
Now to be for real I did not see how to spindash being told anywhere in the overview.

I didnt think about mania when I listed drop dash in games, drop dash is in one of the genesis games, isnt it sonic and knuckles
Sonic Mania was the first game to release with the Drop Dash.

A move resembling the Drop Dash can be found in a prototype of Sonic 3, but it was replaced by the instashield by the time development on it wrapped up.
That very prototype was leaked a couple years after Sonic Mania released so it’s unlikely the Drop Dash was directly inspired by it unless SEGA internally kept a similar build they showed Taxman for whatever reason.

it is in the "taunt stance controls" category in the overview. the only thing they haven't for x sonic in the overview is dark sonic and his super/perfect form.

Mu bad I knew it was a classic game, but in sonic gens there's a drop dash for modern and classic, unless that was added in sonic×shadow i never played the original

sure hope that with this they can learn the difference between a dropdash and a momentum roll
