AMAZING MOD, also will there ever be a update for the grind sprites for the rail grind mod? (Nvm I got the update)

So how exactly do you unlock dark sonic? i keep getting the dark shards from the checkpoints but nothing changes.
There in emables 1up inv tokens if that not it they only one in every zone so beat the act not retry at every checkpoint

After you get all 7 Dark Emeralds (You can check how much you have and how much Planet Eggs there are at the level in the tab menu), you can hold C3 and you'll see Dark Sonic as a button you need to hold Spin to use, but you'll need 50 Rings.
Oh, and, Prison Eggs (btw, these are the shards to get the Dark Emeralds) don't only spawn in checkpoints: They also spawn in random monitors and emblems.

As far i know, when you quit after collecting all fake emeralds, you have to collect them again. It was intentional?

For anyone who wants to make an alternate voice pack, Junichi or otherwise, I have no issues promoting it in the main page.

I just have no desire to gather JP voiceclips myself, nor to add 72 extra freeslots to the mod itself. Currently X Sonic with English clips has more voiceclips than SA-Sonic WITH the extra included Junichi clips, it'd be a big issue for filesize and mod compatibility.

the new update broke the revert button for super sonic his not reverting back to normal sonic but dark sonic is working so

i think it a hybrid of the two because i some time hear voices that are not Jason's but i prefer Junichi personally

Can anyone explain to me about X Sonic's hyper form? I'm confused as to why I can't get to that form in singleplayer. Btw, great mod Blue Blur.
It's not a perma-unlockable like with SA-Sonic. It's something you can access in Mystic Realm CE, same as other hyperforms there.

@BlueBlur Heya BlueBlur, love a lot of the updates and improvements! Version 1.1b is KILLIN' IT!
The only problem I have with this newest update is with 'Increased ease of grabbing Power Rings' part that was recently added in the latest updates. It feels too easy with the amount of space I've been noticing when it comes to popping either a Lightning or Magnet Shield for X Sonic to grab it from. Could you ret-con it and restore it to how it was originally, or add it as a feature in the Custom Menu to adjust for players? It just doesn't sit right with me that it looks like X Sonic can just be practically two or three feet from it and he just... auto-grabs it like this; when it felt perfect how it worked originally with Sonic literally needing to grab it so he can utilize it in Sonic X.
Huh...I didn't expect anyone to have issues NOT missing a collectible, lol. Anyone else who feels this way too?

Um so I found a bug with dark sonic in mindscape.
So I managed to go full dark sonic against Faciollo but dark sonic completely breaks the fight. I couldn't record it but basically dark sonic just keeps getting hit by this giant hitbox that hits him forever until he reverts back making it impossible to use dark sonic against him
Mindscape doesn't want players to play it any other way than is intended (So Inazuma only, with no cheats.) and intentionally breaks custom characters. It's not an issue on our end.

It only saves/loads Fake Emeralds for the vanilla SRB2 campaign in Single Player. It also doesn't save progress if you used a debug command to cheat in the Fake Emeralds.

Unlike the Chaos Emeralds, they stick around even if you warp to other levels, which obnoxiously removes the emeralds normally. In gamemodes outside of Coop, Fake Emeralds are synced with the Chaos Emeralds. So if you have one set, you'll have the other set too.
 
Would it be possible to make a command in a future update that gives you all the dark emeralds? collecting them in one go and losing them all if you quit the game outside of the main campaign is a bit of a pain.

i think your supposed to get it by using the mod Xmomentum (Cross-Momentum). i tried using the hyper forms and that didn't work :/ but you can also use super colors too

You have to modify X sonic to rail grind
also yeah you need the rail grind mod for the sprites to work
