It's quite an interesting way to start off, i remember one day after dad came from work I asked him to download some j2me games for my Nokia C3-00 at the time then I saw Sonic Advance on that 4:3 CRT monitor from our crappy XP PC from back in the day and I wanted that so badly so he downloaded it for me so yes, my first Sonic game was Sonic Advance on a phone with a screen with a 320x240 screen resolution.

Sonic Rush on my DS was my first ever sonic game. I replayed the game back in 2019, and came to realization that when your a kid the idea of video game quality doesn't exist.
