Won't Fix Weird 1st-person Camera movement

Call me Exen if you like.
Ello there. Idk if you had this in mind to fix or it's just the DOOM engine, but if I go into first-person on look up or down, there is some sort of weird stretch that makes it hard to look down or up when trying to find something.

Here are some photos of evidence.

Its been like that for years, probably just unfixable. But, switch to OpenGL as it does not do this when that's active.

This happens because the Software renderer can't render any perspective other than straight ahead, so it renders a very tall viewport and shows you a portion of it. Turning the camera up or down moves the shown area up or down; it's still rendering straight ahead but only showing you the top or bottom of what it's actually rendering. This is core behaviour of the Software render and cannot be changed without replacing it entirely, so if you need to look up and down without warping you must use OpenGL which renders in true 3D.
