Veph the Dolphin-Fox v1

It is highly strange how hidden away the sm64coop version of Veph seems to be. Until mere days ago, even so much as footage of him barely existed and he is not hosted on any modding pages, only on the discord for the game. I find I wish that both games' versions of him were hosted here, though I suppose now they are!
 
Not to mention they are also playable on Minecraft with mods with a bunch of characters you may know.

It definitely wasn't my intention, but I suppose it kind of just happened due to the fact I haven't updated the mod in forever.
The original mod site for SM64ex Co-op mods got taken down at some point, Veph was hosted on there in addition to the post on Discord.
There also used to be a YouTube channel called "Unreal" (I think?) that had videos of a whole bunch of mods, but the channel got taken down at some point, not sure why.
And Veph isn't currently on the new SM64ex Co-op mod site as his latest version doesn't support DX. If I ever update it to do so, you'll probably be able to access it a bit easier.

Blame RalphJeremy65, lol. He just went ahead and made that entire pack all by himself. I don't even really play Minecraft anymore, but it's cool that it's even a thing and that extensive.
 
Ahh...is that why v2 seems to throw "Veph the Dolphin-Fox has scripting errors!" warnings nearly every time a voice clip should play after about ten minutes playing as him in sm64coopdx? Beyond that, there are no issues, he functions as seems to be intended! I wonder if he works in a single-player build though, would be nice to not have to host an empty lobby lol- but I haven't tried yet! I suspect not though, I doubt those have a chat into which to input /veph on

Oh, but actually, that Unreal SM64 channel seems to exist again! When I said footage barely existed until mere days ago, I was referring to this video, uploaded four days ago at time of writing. Seems they remade the channel!
As for the "barely" part, I had previously managed to track down this other video, though the source they give in a comment-reply links to a video which doesn't exist- I suppose it was the previous Unreal SM64 channel?
 
As a big fan of Dr. Stephen's work, seeing he has helped with the sprite artwork, and the sheer cuteness of the character itself (which then somehow made me like a dolphin of all species, similar to how IDW suddenly made me like lemurs) made me immediately download the addon, even though i still don't have means of playing as him, cause still haven't migrated my possibly extremely fragile collection of mods to 2.2.13 yet.

I do have a separated copy of 2.2.13, however, so i could very hopefully see him in some (european) netgames, and i would definetily switch to him.

EDIT: Sorry, forgot to add to this, after reading the above replies; Does anyone have any video footage of this same character on SM64 that i can watch? (atleast if i understood correctly, that this same adorable dolphin-fox character was also in SM64, but more polygonal than sprited (obviously, lol))

not sure if you know already but Veph's projectiles gets stuck in pending removal this is usually caused by P_SpawnGhostMobj being used on something that is not a player
 
I'm sorry if this has been addressed already, but, when I enter " vephinvert " in the command console, it responds, "vephinvert is off default is off". So, how would I turn this setting on?

Edit; Nevermind, I just now figured it out. You just type "on" afterwards.
 
Idk if anyone else has found thsi but i found this weird bug were sometimes when i try to bounce off a spring underwater it doesn't send me the correct amount of height. Here's my current mods I'm using in order
