SRB2XMAS Sonic - He's ready to Robo Blast in July!

Hey, look, it's Sonic!... for the billionth time.
But now he's gone back to his former self, our beloved SRB2XMAS Sonic, the one with the X-treme placeholders and all. This attempts to be a somewhat similar to XMAS-feeling Sonic, complete with a Strafe key, lack of air control, multi-thok, and the funny big thok particle we love.
Do note this is not an exact port (far from it), nor should it be classified as one.

To strafe left and right, hold the Strafe key (CUSTOM 3) and use your turning...

I feel like the strafe key control scheme should be optional or revised. I can't speak for anyone else, but I rarely, if ever, use my turning keys, not only because I have my mouse, but also because they're the arrow keys, all the way across the keyboard from the WASD keys. It's very uncomfortable to actually try to strafe. My solution is to allow using the mouse to strafe when the key is held down, it would probably feel a lot better.

First of all, love that you like Touhou much like me, second of all, I'll look into it. I want to try to force strafe key no matter what to keep that XMAS feel, but I can totally add mouse move / mouse strafe.

Maril updated SRB2XMAS Sonic with a new update entry:

New Sounds, Midis, and Better Accuracy (v1.1)

v1.1 of SRB2XMAS Sonic is out with some changes.

+ Added SRB2XMAS midis so you don't have to yourself.
+ Changed various variables to make Sonic play more accurately to his former self.
+ Various sounds from SRB2XMAS are included and used by Sonic.

Mouse Move still doesn't exist, but it shouldn't be hard to implement, just need to take a look at G_INPUT.C in the xmassrcf folder probably.

Not quite "forgot", more so I just take a while since I work on more than one project.

Why do people say that it controls terribly in the reviews? They clearly don't understand that this is supposed to be a remake of the original Srb2 Sonic, which didn't have super great controls.
