SRB2: The Arcade Levels (W.I.P)

Thanks, the idea behind G.O.D is that he's a tragic villain. He doesn't want to be evil, he wants nothing more than to see the environment flourish. But Eggman and all the pollution humans and mobians have created drove him insane, and made him think that the only way to save the planet, is to get rid of what's causing the problem, that being mankind.

I like your story since it's kinda like Ultron's. He just wants to protect the earth, but he noticed that most of the bad things that happen to earth it's because of humans (which made him go insane).

Afaik, he mentioned earlier that there are no acts; it's just stages. Just like Arcade levels tended to be! Move on from a level to an entirely different one once you're done.
oh, when it came to arcade levels, I thought of those that had more than 1 stage of the same place, but the music does sound like it be for a wireframe digital city, for whatever reason that is.

It's been a while since I've uploaded any thing regarding the JCZ boss, I've been having trouble with its sprites.
 
Make sure you give all your rings the Float flag. And a pro tip: you can select all rings in your map by pressing F3, putting selecting "Thing Type" from the drop down menu, then searching for thing type 300. Then press "edit selection" and give it all the float flag.

Other than that I'm loving the look of this city, although I think you should rip those city window textures from srb2.pk3, upscale them in an image editor, and then import the upscaled textures into your file. They're a bit too small to be believable currently.

I like to think that Metal communicates with other robots/Eggman wirelessly.
Maybe through bluetooth or something.

The LE script is very primitive, so it'll be improved once the Boss is implemented.

Just to give a taste as to what's in store for stage 2 ;)
 
If you ever plan to add a high action sky level with planes and such, I'd suggest Aerial Road, and Sky Arena from Mario Kart Arcade GP DX for music, trust me if not Aerial Road, then Sky Arena will do it for you in terms of good music.

Dropping another hint for stage 2.

Stage 2's gonna have a secret boss that you can face by fulfilling certain conditions before reaching the end.
Who is it? Well it wouldn't be a secret if I told you!
