SRB2 - Sonic Heroes Sound/Music Pack - Updated! Again! Again

The same way you work any external file o_O

You start SRB2 up with the commandline "-file wadname.wad"

or in SRB2 itself, you bring down the console and type "addfile wadname.wad"

It was bumped for a REASON.

I have no trouble with bumping stuff because you updated it or you have something significant to say, but bumping it for "Heh" or "LOL" is just a waste of everyone's time.

Not bad at all. At least it's a change from having to listen to the same level music over and over each time we play. XD

Nope, sorry. I haven't uploaded that one yet -- I will later. The next one will have all the music changed. Track listing for that:

Title - Sonic Heroes, "Title Screen"
GFZ1 - "Ocean Palace" (beta, which is just a pretty remix of Seaside Hill)
GFZ2 - "Ocean Palace" (final, completely new song)
GFZ3 - "Boss: EGG HAWK"
THZ1 - "Grand Metropolis"
THZ2 - "Power Plant"
THZ3 - "Boss: EGG HAWK" (I thought about a new song for this, but that'd mean a new header...)
CEZ1 - "Egg Fleet"
CEZ2 - "Final Fortress"
CEZ3 - "Final Boss: WHAT I'M MADE OF"
Credits - "We Can - Theme of TEAM SONIC"

Plus: Round Clear, 1up, Invincibility, and Speed Up.

I've also lowered the quality on my new music pack, so despite having a bunch of new music, it's about 13mb (1mb more than the current pack). It'll also include the texture you see above. I reccomend using it with SASRB2 (that's what I usually do).

http://blazefire.mooglecavern.com/temp/heroesmusic_final.rar - 14.7mb

From the readme:

USAGE: srb2win.exe -file heroes.wad

Or, in the console, "addfile heroes.wad"

Hey! Blaze Here. Well, this is it. The final version of the Heroes Sound/Music package. What all does this change?

- ZONE MUSIC

Green Flower Zone, Act 1 - "Ocean Palace Zone Beta" (A catchy remix of "Seaside Hill", also previously the GFZ act 2 music)
Green Flower Zone, Act 2 - "Ocean Palace Zone Final"
Green Flower Zone, Act 3 - "BOSS: EggHawk"
Techno Hill Zone, Act 1 - "Grand Metropolis Zone"
Techno Hill Zone, Act 2 - "Power Plant Zone"
Techno Hill Zone, Act 3 - "BOSS: EggHawk"
Castle Eggman Zone, Act 1 - "Egg Fleet Zone"
Castle Eggman Zone, Act 2 - "Final Fortress Zone"
Castle Eggman Zone, Act 3 - "Final Boss: WHAT I'M MADE OF"
Credits - "We Can! - Theme of Team Sonic" (Seriously shortened version =P)

- MISC MUSIC
Speed Up
Invincibility
Round Clear
1up

Additionally, I've changed lots of sounds and three textures. (GFZrock, Grass, and Grass with flowers)

Enjoy!

I find it best served cold with a side of SA-SRB2.

You don't run in software at all, do you?

256x256 textures need to be split up into two 256x128 patches. Otherwise you get corruption (Max vertical patch size is 255).

Look at the Starry sky with the planet. All 256x128s stitched together.

No, I do not run in software mode very often (read: maybe once every six months). I need my texture filtering or I go nuts @_@

Anyway, I'll see what I can do about fixing this for software mode =P Eventually.

Until then, remember kids: -opengl !

Edit: Uh, what corruption?
