Tsukuba Circuit Zone - A racetrack from the real world, recreated somewhat faithfully in SRB2Kart.

An experiment that I used to learn the ins and outs of making a map with ZoneBuilder. Recreating this familiar real-world racetrack took me about 4 days of on-and-off work, the first day was spent making the basic layout, the second day was spent polishing the track so that it feels fun to race on, the third was spent setting up waypoints so that laps count and the fourth was me adding some details to the track to make it feel a little more alive, like adding grass around some parts of the...

THUNDER PARK!

I have now made a second map, which means that Spaceman2028 Cup has now been upgraded from a single map to a proper map pack.

Changelog:
~New Map: Thunder Park! Straight out of Hydro Thunder, this simplistic arena's small size will no doubt lead to some close-quarters tomfoolery.
~Tsukuba Circuit has been updated with a new skybox, new music, and a rather stormy Encore palette to reference Tsukuba Circuit WET Race, the rainy version of the track seen in Gran Turismo 4.

Thunder Park Hotfix

In response to feedback regarding Thunder Park, I have now updated the pack with an enlarged version of the track replacing the old one (which has now been moved to Map Hell.) I also discovered what the problem with the preview pics was, and now both tracks have working preview pics (though the old Thunder Park retains the old preview pic to help you tell the difference between the two versions of the track).

Quality of Life update 1

Changelog:

~Changed the ingame cup name from Spaceman2028 cup to Sunday Cup, as a second, entirely new cup may be in the works.
~Removed R.M. Test Track from the pack for the time being as I found myself unsatisfied with how it came out. Don't worry, it'll be brought back at a later date in another cup.
~Added a new track in R.M. Test Track's place: Arctic Arsenal Zone.

Sunday Cup Expansion Pack

Changelog:

~Moved Thunder Park and Circus Minimus to map hell. Neither really bring anything new to the table, and Thunder Park in particular is pretty boring.
~Re-Added R.M. Test Track as a hell map, for historical conservation purposes. I might eventually go back and remake this map sometime in the future, but don't count on it happening any time soon.
~Added two new tracks: Supermarket 2 from Re-Volt, and Rip Tide from NASCAR Rumble!
