Yes, CyChan, but you could expand upon it. I mean, you could find some way of making curved slopes or something.

Grinding could be done using a world of speed pads.

We STILL use that technique in SRB2. There are a few "slopes" in Greenflower Zone.

It's nothing new by any means.

They ARE stairs. That's what hotdog is doing as well, they're just a LOT closer together.

We all know that for using a grinding thingy magiger you'll need more sprites. Unless it will be like the ring thing, then seeing a character riding a rail with a falling animation will look weird.

I think they make it look more slopelike.

One problem about the conveyor belts: Sonic will go flying off if there are any curves.

OpenGL displays REDWALL for textureless walls, since it doesn't do the HOM effect.
