It'd be stupid. Sonic Mega Collection has all that jazz already; all you're missing is Sonic World, and that was pretty weak.
They should still at least add Sonic World. Sure, it may not be much, but it'd be a neat bonus.

That's what I want to see.

Sorry guys, it's just more crap.

Let me illustrate this for you. You do NOT get the Japanese music in Sonic CD due to "liscensing issues". You do NOT get Streets of Rage because "it doesn't conform to the E-rating of the Sonic titles". Hell, I think it's very likely we will NOT be getting anything else even worth mentioning!

I'm not buying it anymore. I just had too many hopes for this and they've all been smushed with a single article. Now the only thing this collection is worth buying for is Sonic the Fighters, and that's not worth $30.

I bet the movies are just commercials for their upcomming Shadow and Sonic Rush games. I am still interested in those remixes though, but that's the only reason why I'd buy this now.

Im very sad. We get one sign of hope and then Sega takes away Streets Of Rage in America. Now I have another reason to hate Sega. Why do they hate there fans so much? IM GOING TO EAT SEGA!!!!

Bleh, SOR isn't all that great. Perhaps I'm saying this because I've already beaten it upwards 20 times, dunno.

i just cant wait for sonic mega collection 3: the rest of the gamegear games, Knuckles Chaotix and sonic shuffle

NOTE: thats what i HOPE sonic mega collection 3 is...

YES!!! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!! I WIN!!!

So? If I want SOR I can just pull up Gens. Or my Genesis, because unlike the other games on the disc, it's easy to find. It's not even THAT good, anyways.

Wrong. Look again. There are still plenty of redeeming factors.

You get discouraged WAYYYY too easily =/

Yep. It's worth a ton more then that. Go look on ebay sometime. Also, what about Sonic CD, the GG games we didn't get in SADX, and Sonic R? Those are all great, and dispite what you may say (Maybe some of you other guys will agree with him, but I don't care really), there are plenty of other people who would agree with me.

You guys need to stop dissing SEGA so much. So what if they're trying? Would you rather have no SOR, or no Gems Collection? Or even worse, no Sonic? Come on. I know you guys don't want that. And if you do, then guess what? Stop bitching about the game's not-quite-as-good features so much and stop disgregarding the good parts of the game.

Jesus. Lighten up.

My point?
I dunno...
I guess I just want to point out to everyone who's like "ARGHH SEGA MAKES DUMB GAMES THEYR DUMBH" that you'd be better off with a company that TRIES to do good rather than tries to do bad.
Or I'm crazy. I dunno.
Anyway. I think Mr. potty mou-I mean... Omega's right. That too, I wanted to point out.

How so? Remixed music I could get from OCR, pictures only remain new so long, and I own everything on here except the Fighters. Not worth it.

When you think about how many ways Sega could ruin the game and SoA decides to take every last one, yeah, it's pretty easy to get discouraged.

Own.

They're all in SADX. Regardless, own, or don't care to play since I've tried them via emulator.

Omega the Hedgehog said:
and Sonic R?
Own. Twice over.

No denying they're great, but, ya know... OWN.

No Gems Collection, considering, well, OWN. If a separate Streets of Rage collection comes out I might get THAT, since that's not really the deciding factor - the deciding factor is that without it, there's not much on here I don't already own.

With the way he's being whored out, a few years out of action would help.

I'll bitch about the fact that we just got served - bad - if I want to, thanks.

And if you must ask why I wanted it before and not now: the chance to play Sonic CD with the JPN soundtrack on a TV, officially. Streets of Rage just made a sweet deal sweeter. Now that I can't have that, I intend to rent - later, maybe, though. As for purchase, well, maybe when I have more that I intend on importing from Japan, since right now, that'd be it, and it's not worth the hassle.

All I have to say is, thank God that we get the US version of the Sonic CD soundtrack, and not that "Toot Toot Sonic Warrior" garbage. And as for SoR, so what? To me, both Vectorman games sound better anyway.

To everyone else who's complaining, all I have to say is just buy the import and be quiet.

Uh, how about no? I'm not getting what I wanted, so I have every right to be PO'd at SoA for stepping in.

Incidentally, that also happens to be the majority view, too, even if it's not here.

Yeah, I suppose you're right. I'm not really in any mood to nitpick about SEGA's games, though. Go ahead and continue being ticked off, I won't say anything else.

Well, in any event, I'll still get it. The chunk of Sonic games I haven't played is enough to warrent my purchase.

BTW, the most recent update on the Japanese Gems website unveiled the unlockable games. As already announced, all the Streets of Rage games, as well as Bonzai Bros., are included, but get this - so are both Vectorman games. That's right, they are NOT US exclusive, and they are NOT compensation for the lack of SoR - they're just leftovers. Therefore, there's no denying it - the US version of Gems is definitively inferior to the Japanese version, language barriers aside. Gee, thanks SoA.

Hmm...Soooooo, can I import? Just joking really, as the stuff I don't get I can just download. Mainly, I get Sonic CD, Sonic the Fighters, and Sonic R. Maybe for you Shadow Hog, who owns those things already, then this might not be for you. But, for what would be either a two year download, as well as getting a much better computer, or a really high cost, I still get great games at a low price, comparitively. Maybe it's not as great as what it could be, but for a lot of people, that's not all that bad.

Of course, I would prefer Adventure 3, an actual good game (or I would hope it would be) over Sonic R and Sonic CD and such, but still.

We're not getting SoR because it's T rated? Shadow gets a god damn gun, and we don't get classic games because they're T rated?

I HATE YOU, SEGA.
