SF94-(insert wad name). Yay or nay?

Just thought I'd clarify on the whole "meh" thing. That's my opinion of hangouts. Like co-op, good conversation (and possibly crush kills) rule the day. SF94(-Serv) itself is an excellent bit of scripting that wouldn't work in Match or CTF, to say. That said, spreading the ring panels out a little bit more would make improvised Match and Tag games work a lot better. And blood spurting whenever you get hit? (Unless you run the disabling SOC) Annoying. Would be better if only worked when killed. (lol, mordin sentence)

Kinda agree with you on the blood when killed thing there, Kopper. It's kind of annoying when you merely get poked by a crawla and your body's worth of blood floods out everywhere. Also amusing.

I really like this WAD pack. It's fun to find all the secrets and everything, although I do agree with Cue on the humor. While I don't mind the current, it would be better if there was some variety. The options availible with this WAD pack are fun too. I remember when me and a few friends got together and grafitti'd on the walls with rings. Doing our names and sentences. I think I saved them all as screenshots SOMEWHERE...

The update changed a lot too, and I really enjoyed that. The Weather Shop is no longer instantly acessible and some NPCs seem to say other things. It's fun to find everything, though. Especially as the walljumpin' Senku. (I kinda felt proud when I walljumped and completed the "Get to the top of the plaza!" mission)

Bad S3K. What would happen if a little kid, or even a kid my age, was looking at that and their parent(s) came in?
Worse yet, what if the kid or kids were fapping to it, and the parents came in?

As for an SF94 opinion, I really don't have one, on account of me freaking out when I first opened it, and seeing the SuperVirus (at the time I hadn't hit puberty and was mortally afraid of almost anything) and never used it again.
I would download it, but my crappy computer already runs slow enough.

Having given it a bit of a closer look, I still think it's pretty cool, but I'm a little disappointed myself in the stupid Chao rape jokes. I mean, is it supposed to be funny? I would subtract points for that if I was giving a rating. I mean, seriously, my little sister wanted to check the city out when she saw me playing it, but I had to tell her no, just because I didn't want her coming to me and asking what "rape" means. The Weegee jokes were pretty funny, at least the Weegee room in the lobby was, but after that it got kind of old.

By the way, I'm just wondering, would it be possible to make something like an adventure field and tie stages to it so there was a bunch of stages you could enter from the main map, kind of like in Sonic Adventure? I'm not real experienced with that kind of stuff.

Hm... I see your point. Changing it would also prevent you from spewing blood absolutely everywhere to the point that other objects stop rendering in DSZ (on water slides). I might as well.

I admit even I think it's getting old, but just remember that I'm not the only one designing the maps. Sik made Neon Night and Green City. I can't say I recall mentioning the whole rapist Chao joke in my city anywhere. (although I know it IS mentioned in either Neon Night or Green City... or both.)

The teleporter in the back of the lobby is going to be changed (to something somewhat useful) at some point, the Weegee room is just a retarded placeholder, of sorts.

By the way, I'm just wondering, would it be possible to make something like an adventure field and tie stages to it so there was a bunch of stages you could enter from the main map, kind of like in Sonic Adventure? I'm not real experienced with that kind of stuff.

And yes, that's possible. I already have something like that planned, and have a basic map done for GFZ; although I haven't touched it in a while.

With or without an exit? As in you just teleport or whatever to the start of the map without changing level, that'd be pretty nice. Play with our updated block limit, I dare you to try and break it.

Hm. Well. overall.. I liked SF94-Serv maps.

Not because I'm a roleplayer no no no. I deny that. The map's touch is just incredible.
And it's nice of you to break the node-system and fix it on your own SF94! I highly congratulate you for that one. ;)

Next I like the textures, and ah yes, I like how you made the house, and the doors.
It's fun especially when you make missions to accomplish like that, I just can't figure how you do it. Furthermore, I don't know how you could make a complicated soc such as NPCs, combined with missions that you need to accomplish that require the NPC ( e.g: the "GET THE BALL ON MY HEAD" mission, etc.).

Well, I think this wad will be a LOT better when you fixed the node-system for the train. Yes I know that's the only one that is TOO complex. But if you can fix it that would be REALLY great! Anyways, I'll be waiting for the next update. :)

I actually did fix it once. The train itself at the time was very badly made, though, so I re-made it and didn't end up fixing that again. It's not as complex as you think, though. It'll be fixed before I release another update.

Any who, as a man of not so many "role-playing" wads, this is a definite keeper in my SRB2 folder. Of course, it does contain the silliness of strange images and ideas beat down into it (though I did find the toilet changing your character to a lavender color quite amusing.) This mod contains plenty hours of well thought out work put into it. This surely should be an inspiration to many; not to create massive levels in some form of "mirror" to this, but rather put time into your work, rather than taking bits and pieces here and there and throwing it all together just to call it a stage. I know not EVERY stage is created with this "philosophy" so to speak, but there are those out there that do create a stage just for the matter of creating one.

Oh, and I do enjoy being able to pick up my rings after I've missed those pesky little program controlled citizens running around.... They're quite hard to hit!

That's his problem. Editing is not for stuff that wouldn't or didn't make it through Releases.

Also, I don't see how the chao rape jokes would be a problem. They're stupid, yes, but that doesn't mean it would be trashed.
