hey all, a new racer is joining in on ring racing soon. i'll give you a little bit of why this guy is even joining.
"ahem" After seeing Tails and Eggman's new ring racers, Kronos asks if he could get a special kart made for him so he can join.
here is a gimmick i have in mind for his gameplay, due to him having custom kart, the engine can hold up to 50 rings but of course i have to add a way to disable that if you don't want his gameplay being too easy. well that's all i got... I'll keep you posted on any new updates.

Status update, I'm not dead! but don't expect any new updates anytime soon, I've been feeling burnt out from SRB2/RR plus I got personal stuff I need to do. so once I'm in the mood and not busy I guess I can continue modding again.

I took a break and finished the A2A8 sprite rotations i only need to do 3 more rotations and he's in the game. (not including the drift, turn, death, spinout and lookback sprites, those won't take too long i hope.) i'll release a beta when the sprites are done then i'll work in the lua stuff for holding 50 rings. i'll also include a kartmaker template for my custom kart for those who want to use the kart!

felt like doing A4A6, A4A6 Was the hardest to get the angle down imo, also that black thing behind his head is the end of his tail btw.

Kronos’ sprites are done but I can’t show you because I don’t have access to my laptop, I should also clarify that I do NOT want my stuff back ported to kart. I’ll back port it myself if I feel like it.
Actually I do have picture of him in game from the first export. I made a mistake exporting the first time lol.
I've come to make an announcement, I'll be making a ring racers character pack with my oc in it. this means that Kronos is no longer a standalone addon. Some faces include, Trip & Boomer, Boshi From Super Mario RPG and that's about all the ideas I have. (Boomer is a early concept for sonic's partner for sonic 2.) The & is there because they are two characters in 1. And as promised, heres a beta for Kronos, feel free to give feedback if you want to.
So i made an experimental ability called the super rush, if you're at max rings you can press lua 1 to get invincibility. while in super rush you lose 2 rings per-second and when you reach 0 you exit super rush. my plan is to make it more balanced and add more visuals. i'll make sure it works only with 50 rings turned on when i figure that out.

i've made a visual tweak to the super rush. The emerald is spawned on the player when they enter super rush and has no effect during gameplay, even in sealed stars and because battle mode has no rings, you can't cheese your way to winning. also I know some of you are wondering why the emerald has a different color than the canon chaos emerald colors. it's because this isn't a chaos or super emerald. I also could make a open-assets custom emerald system for those who want to customize the emerald in custom sealed star stages but no promises!

I've Made a choice to group my characters and maps together in one big modpack, also i ripped act icons for some levels i plan on making.
(yes these are from Sonic Hysteria and they are kind of scuffed rips, i'll fix them up later.)
my plan for this cup is to have it consist of 5 rounds of tempo turmoil, all 5* directions and a boss fight at the special round, this would be the last cup i'd make in this modpack, sending it off, that's what those graphics above are for. Or maybe these will all be scrapped, I do have quite ambitious desires lol. anyways cup icon!

I found some voice lines for her, they are taken from sonic boom (the wii u one) because that's the only game i could think of when it comes to playable modern amy. (amy's voice in frontiers has an echo effect to it, so that's off the table unless i want it to be that way, I don't want it to be that way.)

I'd Say this is pretty good. We are almost done! (we? who's we? it's just me.)
I really want to try to get into kart (even though Ring racers is the better game.) So i threw this together. the kartmaker template for kart is very small but he just barely fits. oh and I'll try and make a mirror of my ring racers pack for this game as well.

Status Update: I'm done with school for now so more free time on my hands to do stuff with it. and I'm getting the M5 MacBook Air with 24GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. why? My current laptop sucks and all I'll say is it's from 2020 and doesn't have an M1 chip in it.
