Reveries

Reveries f7b

i haven't used windows for several years so idk anymore really... stay tuned for next update, i should be able to supply a 32 bit build again so you won't have to hassle with the folder juggling anymore
i forgot to tell but i managed to fix it

I love this this physics mod to death and litterly can't play this game without it. If I had to complain about something though it would be the shields funny enough. I'm the type to turn off the character jump moves cause I like having to platform fully or use the stage's badniks and power ups to do some really cool skips! The shields help with platforming yes but some also break the flow of movement, my least favs are the Magnet and the elemental mix one.

The mix one is great for reaching high places but completely stops all your hard earned movement and makes it awkward to use half of the time and the magnet shield's homing attack is okay but it will reset your speed to the normal run speed after and tbh just feels werid as well.

If I had to come up with a solution I would maybe have it so the mix shield didn't stop you entirely but maybe slowed you down the longer you went up, that way you can control how much speed you want to trade for height and could cancel it sooner to keep more of your speed. and for the magnet shield I would have it so when you homing attack you bounce higher depending on your current speed.

I don't know I was just thinking about it and decided to say something about it, I love the Torn shield for it keeping your flow and having a cool ability! That was all, hope you're doing good and have a nice day/night!

F7: Eggman's Rerevised Master Plan

Important note for returning players: 32 bit Windows builds are back on the menu, so there are now two downloads. If you previously installed the standalone own-folder version and want to continue using it, you'll need to use the win64 download to update. Otherwise, get the win32 download and put it in the same folder as your vanilla SRB2 exe. Make sure to copy reveries.cfg over from your folder, though!

Thanks to increased jump heights, more air control, and generally stronger characters...

F7A: Back 2 Brak

So I kinda forgot to give Black Eggman attack telegraphing which was one of the things I wanted to do for the F7 boss revamps... and splitscreen mode had some major problems too, so here's a bonus update with those issues addressed plus some more fixes and tweaks.

Changelog:
  • Added MIDI and VGM support to the official Linux flatpak
  • Prevented the player from being able to go behind the camera, which would cause the...

F7B: Cleanup On Aisle 7

Hello everyone, I'm back with another polish update. Tonight we dine on hot fixes fresh from the bakery.

Changelog:
  • All shields which were not already fullbright are now semibright and a couple have been made slightly more transparent so they don't cover up the character as much
  • Thorn Shield visuals improved
  • Restored previous cam_speed maximum of 1.0 (it was accidentally clamped to 0.34)
  • Fixed turn to input in automatic mode being completely busted for Player 2 in...

Please update the linux flatpak when you get the chance
the flatpak is always updated at roughly the same time i publish the updates here, though it usually takes flathub several hours to actually push the new version out

if you want to keep track yourself, just check out the history at https://github.com/flathub/io.github.srb2.rphys/commits/master/ and it will tell you when there's an actual reveries update vs the usual external library maintenance
