this room used to have a red floor which i thought was odd but i guess it was a missing texture according to the patch notes, but now its sky but only at certain angles.

nvm i guess its fine??? i came back after playing a level and now the floor is just fine even though it wasnt a few seconds ago?

It's nearly impossible to get out of this specific portal. Forcing you to reset or enter the level and leave again. I was able to spindash out just a little but still ended up being stuck.

Fang doesn't get stuck as much. I'm guessing it depends on the character.

literally being banned in the past shouldn't be a reason to discredit anybody's work. if anything the fact that they're unbanned and were allowed to take part should be considered a good and cool thing.

Thoughts about OLDC 2023 Round 2.

Mostly had a mixed experience with this, so I organized my thoughts here.

Cleary Eggman is tall like Vector, so I think he would almost get stuck. Since his sprite is mainly being tall, because his character is meant to be like that.

Not to mention Vector can skip the whole Fang section by using Beat Dash to get to the goal.

The portals are designed around the vanilla characters hights. At least those from 2.1 considering Fang was not accounted for.

I'm glad I was able to submit a level to this. Not only that, I was glad to make a Mega Man level after many entries without one.

The hub level lags horrifically on my machine, i'm talking 3-4 fps. could there be a separate release that has all the levels pre-unlocked so we could choose them from the main menu?
