This addon allows the 4 characters to hug:

Sonic
Tails
Knuckles
Amy Rose

Keep in mind: It is recomended to load allhugs before character mods with hugs to prevent graphical errors.

Net variables for servers
Few additional commands can be used:

allowhugs
Sets if hugging is enabled.
Default = on

grouphug
Sets if you can hug someone thats already...

Custom 2 is used to hug people, while custom 3 is used to spawn hearts while hugging.

I believe there are some models (maybe not all of them) that have support for this mod. Forgive me if I'm wrong, though, that's just the bad memory workin'.

Instead of a proper hug, Fang could get an animation that looks like he's pushing the other person away. it would be in character.

After a long while, fang now has the ability to hug other players.

The sprite was done about 4 months ago. Reason for not releasing once it was done was due to the upcoming character resprites. As for now, we finally agreed to release the update and kept it as beta until we make newer sprite for the upcoming new ones.
