How I make my SRB2 sprites.

SRB2 Sprite Tutorial..png

This is a cool guide but I have some criticisms if you'd like to hear them.

1. It's not very specific. The guide seems to assume the newbie spriter will understand what it means by "don't use normal colors" (you need to know what specific colors TO use), "add some basic shading" (doesn't explain how SRB2 handles light sources or shading colors), or "add anti-aliasing on the outlines, shading, colors, etc." None of those will be obvious to a first time spriter. The guide more just explains what ORDER to do things in, not HOW to do them.

2. While the sprites themselves are decent, they have some inconsistencies with SRB2's style that makes them less suitable than they could be as examples. For instance, there is clearly banding around the shading on the bottom Kirby sprite. SRB2's anti-aliasing doesn't form a continuous band like that, it's almost always broken up.
