How did you feel after completing SRB2 for the first time?

It was all the way back in 2012 during the height of The Refining Age (what I call the period between 2008 and 2012) and as the absolutely bad boss fight with Black Eggman constantly taunted me for hours I FINALLY finished it. And I was met with... a crusty credits screen. It was disappointing. Suffice to say, I think 2.2 did a damn good job at giving the ending we all wanted.
 
I finally bucked down and beat the game after over 5 months of playing it and WOW it felt good. I think what it was was the song that was paired with the credits. I don't know but after finally beating it after only getting to Deep Sea Zone over and over again it just felt really good finally getting to the credits.
