Thats your issue.Nothing bad happen while i was playing it.Maybe you shuld turn on OpenGL,since i tried on Software and it lagged as hell (or its a issue on your PC).

Pretty good mod but when i try to homing attack an enemy with modern sonic it crashes. Can someone fix this issue? I hope someone does Anytime soon...

Okay, but i don't really understand why we gotta wait until 2.3 comes out i mean. he can make it rn now that 2.2 has progressed alot during these years. besides, 2.3 is probably coming soon given that we're on the last updates of 2.2 before the grand update which will definitely be 2.3 so... yea
