Now that I think of it, I don't really understand why people care about this project.
Like, you can play Adventure Sonic at any moment, and it's way better...

I finished one piece and also I wish we could at least play the mod. Well that is a womp womp for all of us.

That’s a cynical view to have.
Make things for your own sake. Don’t worry about if something similar is better when it comes to something as recreational as a mod for a video game.
This is all for fun, and seeing things like that treats the message board and the mods on it like they have some practical purpose, which they technically don’t beyond enjoyment.

I should also mention people in this thread have shown positive feelings towards it.
Regardless if it's "better" or not, people liked it.
