I love boss fights, but its no doubt that a good amount of bosses can kick your ass when you least expect it. However this script here can make Boss Fights turn into a competition.
Hitting the boss will give you 500 points, defeating the boss on the final hit will give you an extra life. If you hit the boss while you have no rings (and you know, its not about to die), you will be rewarded one ring, similar to TopDown.
Fun fact: This also supports lifepool.lua, however it only adds one life to the pool due to testing this outside of vanilla. This now ALSO support health.wad, recovering one HP to your player's max health. Hey, at least you have a standing chance with a long boss fight.
Kinda unfixable bugs:

- This script will not work properly when battling against Old Brak Eggman.
- If a boss dies via P_KillMobj towards the player it will reward all players with an extra life.
- If your custom lua boss does not go to death state upon final hit, the script will not work.
