Yeah, big problem with SRB2 is the very showing lack of being able to toy around with slopes. It limits the levels to being glorified Mario stages, which HEY, don't get me wrong, is still very fun! But because of the way they did this, they can't do cool crap with slopes and that'd mess with something like this. The only way to do this would be to DRAW DOZENS OF ENTIRELY NEW ANGLES of the running AND walking animations and implement a custom 360 degree movement lua script.

I have more things to say on most complicated topics I talk about, but I struggle to articulate, so that's all I'll say.

ALLTHOOOOUGH, you could force 3D models and implement model rotation and implement the 360 degree physics, that'd take a load off :D

I'm not savvy in how SRB2 works, sorry if I'm extremely stupid and don't know it.
 
You know the worst part? I'm gonna make the Levels fully 3d too, like in gens, but also make it look like Modern Sa2 V3(or Sa2 Redux), which will suck

I'll be real with you; why is it called a GRND sprite when you call just call it GRIND? is there a maximum capacity of the amount of letters you can use?
Technically not anymore in newer SRB2 versions, but for the longest time, you could have only 4 letters in the name of a sprite animation.

GRND was the animation sprite2 name for all the other grindrail mods before GS Grind Rails got made, so I went with that so other characters already using that would be supported right out of the gate.

By the way! The legend himself, Metalwario64, has decided to make even more new animations! A walljump sprite specifically for the walljump-rails, a Humming Top for Super Sonic who may now use that ability too, and a specific all-new drowning animation!

Wow, that's a lot of stuff!

In response to your response to my statement, when I say using slopes to their fullest extent, I mean being able to freely tinker with the slopes via the physics engine, e.g., the Classic Sonic games, and to a lesser extent, the Adventure Sonic games. You cannot in any circumstance enter a non-scripted, idk, halfpipe on its side, and have it be completely natural. It'd have to be scripted in a cinematic sequence to look right.

However, I don't want to discredit those scripted loops, they look really cool, and I would totally love to see more of them! They are a genuine advancement in making the gameplay feel more Sonic and they're awesome!

It seems they still have to be at specific camera angles for Sonic to look right, since nobody wants to draw dozens of new sprites, lol.

Keep it up everyone! This dedication is simply amazing.

Dam this gameplay is based, especially that bottom right one with the rails and tricks and... vaulting?
