basically, when you try saving a PK3 with multiple items of the same name, it won't work. there are multiple files with the same name. you see?
how did you even save the pk3? there are a ton of entries with the same name, so it's really hard to make it saveable.

Here's the exact SLADE version I use. This is the last version before they got picky about samey filenames. If
Peppermint's SRB2-styled Adventure model doesn't hit your fancy and you NEED his discontinued Dreamcast rip to be satisfied, you have my permission to publicly share a v1.8b edit that supports it, so long as you call it something different. (
Like v1.8b-PMintMD2fix.pk3 or whatever)

The insect's are coming back

(aka the bugs) I found one from putting a few character mods and it seems that from adding the mods it changed sa-sonics color palette ( idek if this is a thing that happens all the time or it's just my first time encountering it

)
We can't ensure all mods are cross-compatible, though in this case, did you try using the SA-menu to change Sonic's color back? (
...can you even use the SAmenu on mobile, actually?)
After using the advanced tricks of the Lightdash a bunch (specifically chaining multiple mid-air spin dashes to fly all over the place), I'd love the option to have the Ancient Light Dash do the opposite of the Lightspeed Attack, to target only rings, ignoring enemies & monitors.
This could be added as a setting in the options menu, next to rush mode, to provide manual control over what you target. I would have that turned on all the time.
But besides that idea, I've been playing SRB2 almost exclusively with this guy, he's that fun to play with, keep up the good work!
For what it's worth, if you start the dash right next to rings, Sonic will
ALWAYS prioritize rings even if enemies are closer!
Oh btw, credit
lonicthehedgehogbr who set this up and recorded the GIF! Thanks for the laugh!
Man, this is a great character addon. It's a regular in my autoload, that's for sure. :D
So, I have two things I want to mention. One, is that this mod is starting to break Jeck Jim's models. Sonic keeps getting stuck in the standing position when he moves and jumps, actually pretty much when he does anything. I know it's probably something that should go on that mod page, but I wanted to let you know just in case it's something on your end.
Second, I was thinking that you could add the option for more Adventure-style music and effects, like the drowning music from those games. Really helps with the immersion.
Keep up the good work!
v1.8 broke MD2 models because of the new animations and sprite2 slot changes. They would need updating anyway for the new animations, but I do feel bad for giving the MD2 makers more headaches with my sprite2 slot changes. I do promise no more sprite2 slot changes will happen in the future.
The good news is that Jeck
did seem interested in updating the model, so this should only be a temporary setback. Stealthy
also seems to be making a 1.8 compatible model. Peppermint already added all of SA-Sonic's 1.8 animations to his model, so by all means, I imagine that model will be fully compatible too soon.
You know what I noticed? Adventure Sonic has a mode where he plays like in Rush, right? So it only makes sense to have Jason Griffith's voice as an option to fit well with Rush Mode.
Ooooops, I completely forgot RedEagle64 send a Jason Griffith voice pack I said I'd advertise. Yes, there IS actually a voice pack for that. I made a version that replaces the Japanese clips instead of the English ones too. These voice-replacements are completely clientside, so you can add them even if you join someone else's netgame without repercussions. Remember to add them AFTER adding Adventure Sonic.

Let me edit this into the update post as well like I should've in the first place.
