Oh....my god.....that bot.....I swear to god we need a admin now. Why isn't Furiousfox around when you need him?

Isn't there something the moderators can do about it, except to delete its latest posts?

Not even the administrators can do anything about it, it seems. The bots keep fabricating IP addresses.

<@FoxBlitzz> 203.121.69.153
<@FoxBlitzz> That's the IP
<DarkWarrior> [13:06.47 PM] * Dns resolving 203.121.69.153
<DarkWarrior> [13:06.54 PM] * Dns unable to resolve 203.121.69.153

Maybe to stop spam bots we could have a question envolving srb2 when you sign up like: Who is the creator of srb2? or What is the first level of srb2? or What is srb2 based off of?

Something needs to be done. If it gets extreme, deleting posts might not even be enough. You really need to do something about registering here. It's getting out of control.

I agree, but the letters involved need to be descernable. Confusions such as "Is that a lowercase L or an uppercase i?" should not occur.

Wrong it says :p

(STH = Sonic The Hedgehog

Something like that would work wouldn't it?

If they send pornographic images directly into the forum. Bots would be able to do anything violating the rules and won't be stopped for any reason. The only thing that is worse if they give off viruses that can't be avoided because you are forced to download it.

We cannot let that happen. Now that would be a problem. I must not Panic, I must not panic

Bots cannot post malicious code in posts - HTML is disabled. The only way you can be tricked into getting a virus is if you click on a link, which is pretty easy to avoid, really.

Thank goodness for that. I was starting to get worried that bots are getting smarter even as we speak. And do something bots normally can't do. Thanks for you telling me this. :)

Yeah, Bots can't do really anything malicious just by reading their posts. Only their links are dangerous.

What about the user known as 8? is that a SPAMBOT or a real person trying to infect us and get baned at the same time?

I think the log in needs some sucurity... or maybe theres another option... which is stupid...so you probably don't want to hear it... so I will type it... you could make another forum... told you it was stupid...

I think some of us could use a guide to recognizing spambots as I accidentally responded to the user "8" not knowing it was a spambot.

Edit: We got another one! Aderhaup3. By the way, do spambots come out around this time of day usually?
