Over 20 classic palettes finally make their way into SRB2!

This mod ports the palettes of nearly every classic Sonic game (with the exception of Mania) and some ROM hacks in one complete package. The lists of palettes included can be found below. However, this excludes Sonic Mania as it has already been done here, and can no longer be added in as originally intended. Therefore, this mod has been tweaked often to reflect the changes in said mod and stay consistent in design.

DISCLAIMER: These palettes are mostly compatible with only the characters in vanilla SRB2 (no external mod palettes included). Also, keep in mind that these are NOT perfect replicas, as some of them greatly suffer extreme palette restrictions (thanks to SRB2's game-specific PLAYPAL) and are often held back from their original classic glory.

NOTE: In two consecutive days, I've worked on this mod as it aimed to bring some of our favorite palettes in Sonic Robo Blast 2 (as seen in various Sonic titles, fan games and ROM hacks), boasting up to 30 skincolors overall. These palettes include the palettes from almost all of the classic Sonic titles. The only question I have to ask is: how come no one thought of doing this? So now, I guess, I'm the first person to port almost all of the classic palettes. Could’ve been all palettes, but, hey, whuddayagonnado?

I always had a soft spot for the slightly purple tinted Sonic from the first game. Thank you!
 
Version 1.0a
  • Renamed all PINKs to "ROSY." This was done to stay consistent to SRB2's skincolor choices for characters. (Plus, it's a little easier to remember.)
  • Renamed KCPINK to "KCRED" (for same reason listed above).

...who knows? I'll probably make a sequel mod. I'm considering it.
 
This is actually a pretty amazing skin pack, its pretty neat!

Also, ive actaully did the P_SKIN Entry thingy and makes the vannila characters have the custom colors by default.

Can you give/send me a brief tutorial? I'm really interested (maybe some specific steps would be really nice)
 
it kinda feels ironic that s2bleu actually looks more like its for s1 sonic

either way, this is really good! its one of the nostalgic color schemes, btw is it fine if i use it in the mod im making?
