Characters Single Player Levels Code Changes Sprites/Graphics

Here it is! Version 3 (more like an update to version 2) of my Sonic Heroes level pack. Team mechanics implemented like in the real Heroes game. There is a total of 34 emblems to find. Each level is a combination of act 1 and 2 from the original game. The Chaos Emeralds are hidden in the levels, think you can find them all?

Zones are:
Sea Gate
Seaside Palace
Power Metropolis
Casino Highway
Rail Station
Frog Jungle
Mystic Castle
Egg Fortress
Metal Sonic race
Metal Sonic boss

Characters by: Lat (Tails), Speedwagon (Shadow), Chrispy (Rouge), .Luke (Amy), D00D64 (Cream), CZ64 (Team Chaotix) and me (Omega, Big).
Sonic Heroes logos in the HUD by Lat

Thanks to:
Zipper, for converting and looping all the music.
MotdSpork, for the original team codes for version 2.
Monster Iestyn, for the LUA code to change skybox in game.
Tripel the fox, for the Team mechanics LUA codes for version 3.

I tried my best with this wad and I really hope it is a fun experience to all of you. It is far from perfect, but be sure to check it out and enjoy it!

Important:
- Spindash button is for Lightdash (Sonic and Shadow only)
- Custom Action 2 and 3 are for changing characters.
- Big wad is from my SADX mod, so he is kinda outdated.
- Omega wad was made by me for this mod. He is not the best but its the best I can do at the moment. At least there is an Omega wad now.
- Use command "resetcolors" to change colors in Multiplayer depending on the team you are playing as.

I found a bug in Rail Station with a spring spawning inside the ground.

I really should've mentioned that every part of the map that has a spring inside a box like that is too far into the ground to be used, my bad.

Yeah that happened in Grand Metropolis as well. I dont remember it happening on Rail Station but I ll test it later

Not every technique from Heroes is present in this.
Such abilities are;
Rocket Accel (Speed Formation)
Tornado Jump (Speed Formation)
Triangle Jump (Speed Formation)
Thunder Shoot (Fly Formation)
Triangle Dive (Power Formation)
Fire Dunk (Power Formation)
Team Blast
etc.

It would be some what difficult to get even half of these abilities to work, including the many unmentioned, so expect this to not have every aspect of Heroes' gameplay.

Er... Rocket Accel is technically there, it's just much better than heroes' function of Rocket Accel.

I'm loving this wad so far. Well, yeah, haven't played much, but at least I was able to explore Seaside Palace and leave with all 4 emblems and a p-bonus. I'm on Power Metropolis right now, but I can't seem to beat this zone because of a strange error in some parts. Precisely, the ones with the blue road things facing upwards. When I try going up, no matter what character I use, I fly into the air, and then the game lags, and leaves a crash message shortly afterwards. Is there a specific way to go up there or...?

Nah, 2.1.15 forced this level to SIGSEV at that certain point. I would look into it, but I don't think the owner of this mod knows about the issue yet.

EDIT: Holy shit, I can't even load this level in Zone Builder, it literally has an error upon loading.

EDIT 2: Ok, NONE of the levels will load in Zone Builder... I'm only going to assume that it was made with 2.0 Doom Builder, I mean what the hell...

For some reason, whenever I climb up the conveyor belt, my game crashes.

I get that too more often than not, not super sure why. I avoid that path all together because of it.

Well, I can't even finish the level. For some reason, when there's too much conveyor belts on the screen, it just crashes.

I have been using the power route. It still crashes.

Perhaps I'm a bit late here, but could you provide EIPs of the crashes you got? They should be provided with the crash logs in errorlog.txt (srb2win.RPT doesn't currently produce anything for v2.1.16, so don't worry about that).

I'm assuming of course first that you're using v2.1.16, the latest version of SRB2, that said.
