This is a simple script that allows you to give enemies extra health in your levels.
To do so, simply go to the enemy's UDMF arguments, go to "Argument 10", and input how much extra health you want to give your enemy.
So, for example, Crawlas normally have 1 health. So if you input "3"...
I think that an astute difference between the two cases of "You must play this mod in this version of SRB2" and "You can't play this mod with this level pack" is that the former case is about wanting to keep your mod true to the original version of SRB2 that it was designed around, with all the...
I don't know, something about this rubs me the wrong way. Yeah, I agree that if the reasoning is something inane like the example you gave, it's not justified, but I feel an author has the right to say "Sorry, I just don't want to have my work ported." without needing to justify it any further...
This is an interesting aspect of the discussion that I definitely agree with, though I find it a bit misrepresentative considering it's literally not a response to my original post, but instead a different topic entirely. I was responding to Banjo by explaining that authors don't owe you a "good...
You keep making these assumptions that you have the right to do whatever you want with something just because you like it. That's why you're being called entitled. It's not an insult. It's not name-calling. It's just a very normal adjective to describe what's going on here.
It's not unfair to...
Why does a mod author have to justify themselves to everyone who decides to bother them? Why do you feel entitled to do whatever you want with something just because it exists?

Honestly, this OLDC might just be the best one yet, I loved pretty much every level in this contest, even if I had to vote some ones over others I still enjoyed all of them. So without further ado, here are my reviews:
Good work to everyone all around!

Alright, after spending ALL day I've FINALLY finished the OLDC. Here are my thoughts I've written up. Please enjoy. I am exhausted.
Honestly, great work from everyone this time around, I had a lot of fun playing these levels!
This stage doesn't seem to have an exit sector. This part is a dead end, so I didn't know if I made a wrong turn or something, but when I checked it out in Zone Builder, this really was just the end of the stage, and there's just no exit sector.
That would likely be possible with Lua, probably something that checks what skin you are and then sends you to a different level accordingly, though I'm not familiar with the logistics of how exactly you would do that.
Alright, I finally finished the OLDC, so here are some of my thoughts that I wrote up while playing through the levels.
Every level this time around was pretty good honestly, great work from everyone!
Because it's hardly even clear what those buttons do. On my playthrough, I pressed the correct buttons entirely by accident and I still had no idea what I did or that I even moved platforms or opened a gap.
