The Story of Uncapped Revengence Discord the 3rd v4.1.0

Does the folder where SRB2 is located have a semi-colon in the name? If so, then that's why, as SRB2's addons menu and addfile command doesn't like it if addons or even SRB2's home folder has a semi-colon in the name.
it had, i have removed it and it indeed works! Thank you!

I just realised the build just gives me the perfect save file by default, and I can level select even in recently-created savefiles. I dont want that. I want my old saves back. What do I do?

still not working maybe i should redo this thing because it seems equal to the other music files
In THE MUSICDEF file, you exclude the 'O_' part of the Lump. So, if you were trying to add something like 'O__TEST.ogg' into the jukebox, you'd add it by putting 'LUMP _TEST' into the MUSICDEF file. But, you also gotta be sure that you named the music lump properly too, or else it won't work. It doesn't specifically need to be an OGG file, as MP3 files work too.

I hope this helps you out, but if you want, you could just send me the sound and I could do it for you.

It's most likely the server, but if you want to make absolutely sure, if you use the 32-Bit version, it should produce a crash file.

I'm usin 64, cuz 32 bot crashes when I start it up. (Rip Zypher's PT.)
Oh, then in that case it could be memory related, although I mostly doubt it, since there's no way that Zypher's PT has that many mods loaded to the point where SRB2 is taking up like 2 gigs of memory.

...wait, did you mean that the 32-bit version crashes when you start the server up, or when you start the game in the first place? If it's the latter, can you make sure that you put the right DLL files in your TSoURDt3rd installation directory?

Ah ok, I see the problem. You don't need to put the extra underscore in the MUSICDEF lump name, as you don't have an extra underscore in the actual lump name itself. You're supposed to include the words after the first underscore, so that's why nothing's been working for you.

Well the perfect save file is just a decoration thing, if you don't want it then you can turn it off in the savefile settings. As for the level select, it's a thing I backported from 2.2.14. Apparently, if you have the Level Select extra unlocked, you can use it in savefiles. I'm not sure if it breaks anything specifically per say, but it definitely doesn't break your savefiles, so there's nothing to worry about.

I did, I dragged the entire old game, but it sigsevs upon opening. They're in the same directory as well.

And no RPT file shows up? Hm, that's really weird. Asides from telling you to get all of TSoURDt3rd's and SRB2's necessary assets, and making sure you check your 'TSoURDt3rd' folder in the place where TSoURDt3rd is installed (yes that's a thing), I don't have a clue else of what else to suggest. And that's really weird, because I literally provide everything necessary.

I understand. It still works, and I fixed it via waiting a while. May happen again tho, so I'll look a bit.

This is probably unrelated, as I see no reason the build would mess with this, but, since I installed this, most models simply dont work. Theyre turned on and everything, but most models just dont appear.

Thank you @StarManiaKG for updates. Unfortunately, I found another issue, but now with SIGSEGV signal on Ubuntu 22.04 and Gentoo, which appears when function to load config.cfg starts. I tried with removed config.cfg and game initially runs, but if I restart it, game crashes.

After some digging in config.cfg, it seems that issue is caused by these settings:
setcontrol "(null)" "]"
setcontrol "(null)" "["
setcontrol2 "(null)" "]"
setcontrol2 "(null)" "["

I attached file from game's backtrace and gdb logs (GDBLog.txt).

I also got this SIGABRT error when I compiled directly on Gentoo (GentooGDBLog.txt).

This is based on commit 64bb66dbf4e04.

For some reason, when water muffling is on for me, the music goes away upon exiting the water. Even re-entering the water does not beink back the music. :P

Couldn't get the online working with my friend no matter what I tried. My router doesn't support any kind of port forwarding so tried using the holepunch server thingy. I hosted, invited via discord they got infinite loading. They hosted, same thing. Tried the 'hack' both ways, infinite loading. Tried direct IP and didn't work either. I dunno what else to do.

Fixed on my end, I'll push a commit out as soon as I can. Thanks for reporting it, by the way.

Do you know what command line parameters are, and how to run them? If you do, TSoURDt3rd has a UPnP command line parameter, named '-useUPnP'. If you run the game using that parameter, chances are that this may fix your server hosting issues. If you don't know how to, it might be rough to explain, but I could walk you through the steps of doing it.

Yeah, I've run into this one a couple of times, but I thought I fixed it. 4.2 should fix this issue, but it also couldn't too, but as a hack, can you try changing your volume settings and seeing if that fixes it? There's also a 'restartaudio' command too, so maybe running that may bring the sound back.

Hey @StarManiaKG! I've been encountering another error... I thought the point from where the coronas' light would emanate was, lets say, the ring itself, like, every pixel in the ring's sprite emanates a bit of light, and those bits complement themselves. But the point from where the light comes is a single point in the bottom half of the ring. It looks very weird and des not fit.

Well, the coronas are sprite-based, and doing that would basically require an entire overhaul of the corona system, which I'm not exactly fully able to do until the "final" release of 2.2 comes out, which is apparently 2.2.14.

Okay, so-
I dunno why, but my models don't appear. (Save for objects such as checkpoints and flickering monitors.
Could someone help?
(I'ma send my .dat in a bit.)

Oh, by the way, I pushed a commit a while ago that fixes this error, if you haven't noticed it already. Thanks again for letting me know.

Holy cow, had the same problem and completely forgot to ask Star about it. Ima send my .dat when I get to my PC
Well I don't know why the game does this, but apparently they work fine in 4.2, so whatever happened in 4.1, even though I remember them working for me, I have no clue.

I might have just messed up in the dat, cuz a FEW models work, but I'm not sure. If someone could help me, it would be great.

Thank you with resolving the first issue from Ubuntu side. Compiled binary runs successfully.

However, I have buffer overflow with SIGABRT, when I run compiled binary from Gentoo using GCC14. Here is log in attachment.
