X Sonic

X Sonic v1.1c

2 minor bugs,
The zip-dash line doesn't seem to apply correctly in reverse gravity.
Also kicking some scaled objects resets the scale (its inconsistent what ones do, but the lamps in Station x are one of them)

Ur Not Supposed To Become SMS As X Sonic Since Thats A Problem With SMS Itself And Not X Sonic Ur Not Supposed To Be Him With Any Custom Sonic In General
You're actually wrong as sms was programmed to be transformed for every skin that has "sonic" in it's internal name

How would I go about changing the menu button from Custom3 to something else? This is for personal use of course, I just can't figure out how you guys set up that button, even after looking through almost all the files. Granted I'm not tech savvy in any way (couldn't create custom code to save my life) so I understand completely if I looked right at it in a file and didn't see it because I couldn't understand it.

(this is just to make X Sonic SMS compatible, since they both use Custom3, hopefully the first update includes a fix for this)

I don't know if this has happened to anyone else, but thanks to X-sonic overwriting the sonic and tails pairing to include X-Sonic instead, it fucked up my sonic and tails save file and I can no longer access it in vanilla

anyone know how I can reverse this if possible?

nvm, after doing a bit of testing, I found out that it wasn't this mod, but the X-pack that did this
all because I selected the tutorial stage in that mod
now my character is permanently overwritten in this save file and I can't undo it

I would like to bring your attention to the "No File" directly to the left of the broken save. It says "BACKSPACE DELETE" which is how you can delete save files.

Um... does anyone know how to fix this? I keep running in to this issue whenever I try loading the sonic x addon then when i try to actually USE x sonic all I'm able to do is run around. Not even jump. And no, redownloading didn't help. Help would be greatly appreicated.

Then what version are you using? Because that's also concerning because mods that are made on the current version WON'T WORK on older versions of SRB2. Like features, optimize stuff. Including brand new Lua functions and other things.

Ah, I assume that must've been the reason since I didn't have the latest update. I tried using the patcher to update the game and this error popped up when I tried running srb2 after using it. Now I can't even start the game.

You'd probably be better off installing the new version through a .zip archive instead of the patcher, just extract it to the same directory SRB2 is in and overwrite any files it asks you to. (But if you wanna be safe, backup your gamedata.dat and such)

Thanks for telling me though. I had to reread that page to see if I had missed anything and ended up downloading the zip anyway. Appreciate the help!
