SRB2: Generations

no, the player themselves can add that if they are having problems with performance

the levels aren't poorly optimized, me and all the testers never had any problems with performance--it might just be your own device that makes it feel unoptimized?

updos

-gfz only needs the last major sector and its done.

What typa specs do your testers have? My PC can run srb2 and recent sonic smoothly. There is absolutely no reason for the stages to run the way they do on my gaming pc.

The demo is already released
That demo doesn't even look closely to what the guy is making tho.
So like we don't even know if the new gfz is badly optimized or not

Now that is a MASSIVE improvement in presentation but I gotta say it’s still pretty low on platforming. Is this like a first level thing? Like don’t get be wrong going fast is fun but it seems like entire stage is more focused on spectacle than gameplay. I think a few sliding sections wouldn’t hurt

yeah, its a first level thing, more platforming would be present in the next zones

the path shown in the video is the upper paths though, the fastest and most linear, the lower paths have more platforming, i might put another video showing the lower paths but im feeling lazy right now, maybe another time...

Well it is big so it's okay and speedrunning would be good with this levelpack

yeah I’m aware I’m saying if the boost games didn’t suffer from it there’s no excuse
it was never a problem since im pretty sure the wall collisions the boost games had didn't let sonic get completely stopped when boosting against walls

not even making him react like how he did in the wii version of unleashed

you'd notice (especially in those earlier parts in modern greenhill) that he doesnt exactly stop against 'walls', he just slides past them like butter

this isnt the case for srb2 where if you hit a wall you hit a wall, you dont just boost to the side.

What does being big have to with anything

a lot if im considering the (assuming) near release of v6, he'll be flying all over the place with humming top and his floatier jumps, so i have to consider space above instead of just whats below

not sure if i explained my thoughts properly, so dont take these seriously

Not sure if I count as a tester since I have played the demo but it runs fine either way!

i count the people who played the demo and shared their thoughts about it as testers

it might be outdated compared to the current versions but the reviews there still helps :wonderful:

update?

-new section in thz-m
