after a month of working on this in my free time, i have made something way better than the gamebanana character pack 🔥

Introducing Poyo's Tower of Pizza Pack! This character pack is based on the game Pizza Tower. Containing 3 new characters, a new gamemode, and a map that's yet to be released.

Those 3 character are: Peppino, The Noise, and Snick

Here is Peppino's abilities, starting with Mach Speed and Super Jump.

First and foremost, please tell me it's planned in the future to possibly replace the sprites with proper ones. I usually don't like mods that use the original sprites from an originally 2D game; it just looks off.

Heck, if I knew how to organize them, what spritesize we need, etc., I could help. I am an artist, after all, and pixel art is one of my favorite styles.

Also, adding to this; it feels weird when it lacks 90% of the sounds from Pizza Tower. Sprites I can  kinda deal with, but the entire time, it felt off cuz it's only Sonic sound effects. Where'd you get the sound effects you  did use, anyways?

Also also, a couple issues I noticed and wanna pose a way to probably fix:
Wall climbing, at least just on Peppino, seems kinda finicky. Sometimes it works fine, others it latches on then immediately thinks I jumped off, sending me back. Also, because there's no passive cancelling of it, you can get stuck on a ceiling pretty hard until you jump. Lastly, it sucks that you can't at least shift left and right while wall climbing. As for fixes, first seems to require fine-tuning, the second could be changed so that you need to keep holding Custom 3 in order to wall climb or else you'll drop from it (and make bumping into ceilings knock you off, too), and last one should be obvious.

I'm planning to fix alot of these in a future recode with help from some of my friends, don't worry

As of right now the code is way too messy for me to deal with so I plan for this recode to straighten things up and make things easy to work with. Although you should know I'm coding all of this on my tablet.

I got some of the sounds from a zip in a website, I forgot it's name. I'll message you my discord and we can probably make stuff work for this mod.

They uploaded vids not only of Pizza Tower's OST (beta and release), not only posted vids of some of the sound effects, but even put a Mediafire link for a .zip of *all* the sounds in the description of those SFX videos.

Also, you code on a tablet? I'm hella jealous; I only have Android, wanted to be able to mod this game myself but have found nothing useful to help me start.

You can follow multiple tutorials on how you can mod SRB2 with Lua scripting, I can help with trying to get SLADE (At least the Windows XP version) running.

-on a similar topic, why doesn't Peppino throw the robots, a different character did it with on problem.
-the super jump can't be held forever and Peppino can't move while charging it.
-Peppino also takes damage while taunting (taunting is also his parring ability), but it doesn't deflect attacks, its where the "I'm not going to sugarcoat it" meme originated from but it doesn't let me unsugar it.
-and one rout in deep sea act 2 is just a SoftLock because Peppino can't use the wheel or breakable floor (I'm pretty sure Peppino can body slam).
-this part is a Pepe eve with all 3d pizza tower movesets because the uppercut is usually removed despite the fact that its Peppino's double jump (a reverse version of Pointy's double jump).
-you also can't stop the momentum from a grab while midair, and you can't release the wall while climbing without jumping off of it
-I do like taunting in time to the music, that's good, but why isn't taunt set to custom 3 (the [C] key) this one confuses me.
the character feels clunky, from weird movement stuff to missing abilities, when it works, it works, and when it doesn't...
...idk, your pizzeria gets destroyed by Pizzaface or smth like that.

Personally don't really mind the automatic mach speed, it would be REALLY annoying to have to hold a button to go fast in a sonic game lol

I didn't like how at times I just fly off the platform because I was going too fast, you also could've just quoted the first thing If you were only going to mention the Mach speed and ignore the rest of what I have to say.
and I'm going to bring this up again but taunting in time with the music is great.

my bad.
something I noticed earlier today is that the after images break the ghost data (if you add character addons before a level pack addon you can use unlock things, have save data or use score attack), this is something that effects other addons like: whisper, tails guy, the Nord kitsunes, etc.
so its nothing really bad I just wanted to mention it.
 
i don't like the fact that the superjump acts like a big jump rather than how it works in pizza tower. nitpick aside this mod is a 10/10

a bad call on my part, but this time I'm here to be constructive.
I'm not sure how you want this character to work so il give 2 ideas, you don't have to follow them

1: treating this like its 3D pizza tower (Peppino's Pizza Blast2)
Peppino is here to stop Dr. Eggman from destroying his restaurant (pizza tower plot but Eggman: optional)
Our balding pizza chef is packed with every bell and whistle we could add, press spin while on the ground or in the air to grab dash forward similar to the jump thock, this can be spammed with a 1s cooldown (it doesn't let you stay in the air indefinitely)
if you grab dash into an enemy, you will pick it up (unless it's a spiky or fire enemy, not even Italians can touch fire)
holding an enemy disables all abilities apart from pressing spin to throw the enemy, the ground pound, or spin.
picking up an enemy works like milline from the horizon chars, but throwing works more like ring slinger shooting.
pressing jump midair lets Peppino uppercut, letting him destroy robots from any direction instead of just from above (or the grab)
press custom 1 to Mach run, jumping at a wall while Mach running will let you run up it, releasing custom 1 will stop the wall run, you can also jump off the grabbed wall by... pressing jump, similar to knuckles.
custom 2 is used for crawling if started on the ground, slide move if in Mach run, and ground pound if mid-air.
crawling makes you slower and jump lower and doesn't get used much, sliding will last indefinitely until you hit a wall, take damage, press custom 2 again (or release it), or jump, ground pound can destroy spiked robots and destroy 2-hit bots (if from above)
custom 3 is to taunt, because custom 3 defaults to the "C" key, this is also your parry and can reflect projectiles making the attacker taste their own medicine without you ever taking damage (remember to time it)
Peppino will lose some of his score if he takes damage (I'm not sure if Peppino should lose rings or die when ringless if he has no score)

(I just realized I forgot the super jump after starting the second one, oops)

2: conforming to sonic standers
similar flavor text to the previous
Peppino's Passive ability is shoulder Mach, when moving in a direction, Peppino will pick up speed and enter shoulder Mach (think Pepperman's shoulder bash but also metal Sonic's Mach run, you can instantly kill all enemies in your way, you can also break spikes (you aren't immune to lava by the way)
Mach running into a wall will make you run up it, and releasing the direction will stop the wall run.
spin is still grab dash.
jump is still uppercut.
custom 2 is the super jump (as you did it.)
and custom 3 is still taunt. (The taunt is my favorite thing in the mod and that will never change, even if it isn't a parry, I love every part of it.)

you don't have to do either, this is your mod, and it will turn out great regardless, I have faith you know what you're doing, and it's already better than the game banana one because of the taunt.
