I'll be honest: I didn't have that much playing as Ralsei in this mod at all.
Which sucks too because Ralsei is one of my favorite Deltarune characters but the mod just doesn't do any favors for him at all. I was able to beat the game using mostly him sure but the bosses forced me to work around how slow Ralsei's projectiles move and given their limited range it meant that I had to either risk it with a scarf swipe or try my hand with the pacify move which made bosses like Castle Eggman's arena and Metal Sonic drag out way longer than they have any right.
Also while the unique special stage character is cool, His different gameplay mechanic of a blast-off boost instead of drilldashing just made the special stages more annoying to play. Espicially since he just blasts off at the very start of EVERY special stage meaning I had to hold spin at the very beginning or else I would fly into the nearest hazard.
And finally the dialog was really annoying during gameplay since it took up like a third of the screen and you could not see through it! Making platforming sections even more hell than they had any right to be!
 
I've adored this mod for so long now, and I hope it gets an update to include the new ClaimbClaws from Chapter 4, even if it's just for Kris
 
I've been using this mod for a while now but can't seem to get the character swap to work.. I've tried using commands, remapping the weapon keys, and the dc menu but no luck. Am I being dumb or do I just have to use BuddyEx every time I open the save?

Are you using your Custom 1 and 3 buttons?
 
While I think there is A way to do use them in KART (broom broom) but I don't know how. They always just show up as a green sonic. can someone tell me how to put the Delta Warriors Inside of Karts?
 
The movesets are really fun! Doubling what others said and hopefully the claimbclaws or other ch3/4 material can make it in at some point. Would be really cool if the style of climbing with a burst jump & quicker climb movement was implemented to make it different from knuckles.

One thing I have to say though is, honestly, while the dialogue is cute, it's... really out of character. Susie saying "rubbish" and "passers-by" makes her sound British and completely different from how she's normally written. This is really only a problem cuz Toby has very strong characterization with his cast, being very careful with susie and ralsei's speech patterns. There's words they definitely DON'T use, grammar quirks that make Susie sound a bit more like a jock than normal, etc., so the dialogue boxes being pretty long-winded and making them say things I KNOW they wouldn't just takes me out of it. Even if you can disable the feature, it feels like it could do with a rewrite pass.

...Granted, in your bio it says you're from Argentina so this is probably a language barrier thing lol. I getcha if that's just how it is, maybe some folks could help massage the dialogue in an update tho? 🤔

So, I get it, but ngl this doesnt seem that different than using other characters with double jump abilities? Ralsei's air movement and ground speed isn't that bad especially on bosses. The big thing is you just have to use scarf swipe when jumping since he doesn't spin. But even then I feel like that's been mostly fine in the bosses I've played. Perhaps him having a projectile makes it feel like it should be better? Hrm. I didn't try soloing metal sonic though, but tbf I only ever play a character with burst movement in that race so lmao
 
How do I go super with the trio. I managed to do it kris once in a very specific spot, but I would like to be able to use the super form consistently between the three characters

Unfortunately, you can't; there's a whole thing with dialogue about how they can't once you get every Chaos Emerald.
edit: Unless you use an "all super" mod, but even then it's kinda odd.
 
hello folks! this is one of my most favorite SRB2 mods, and i'm hoping to stream a playthrough of it for some friends soon, while hitting all of the text interactions and little easter egg bits.

that said, i'm having some tech issues?

- the timer appears over the text boxes, and turning OFF the hud turns off the text boxes, but it doesn't really feel like sonic/SRB2 with it gone, which turning off the transparency can do. any tips would be appreciated!
