I don't remember (did it alongside rotation a long time ago) but I don't think its exactly like the standard (so it isn't as good)

Yeah its pretty neat, if you wanna create a closer feeling to the official modern fomula I recommend checking the Tetris Guideline but my recomendation if you just wanna give a 'forgiving' rotation from the modern titles I recommend checking the Super Rotation System or SRS for short cuz makes the game a bit fun
You also have overview and technical info about every game in the series, including the older titles

T-Spin Double is possible, tho Id imagine the kicks are similar to Super Tetris 3 (also similar to the grand master series)
