While he can't jump on enemies to deal damage, he can use a variety of explosives such as bombs, or three bombs (whoa!) and propel himself using their explosions! These can be thrown on the ground or in the air by tapping spin, or by double jumping with a hard limit of 3 bombs, and can be detonated prematurely by double jumping while a bomb is still out on the field.

I noticed Bean has the whirlwind shield replaced by the pity shield. That's not necessary since 2.2.9 added the new character flag SF_NOSHIELDABILITY, which disables shield abilities including the whirlwind emergency jump and attraction target arrows.

The reviews keep mentioning demoman idk who that is
I find it odd that he cant use shield abilities since his midair spin seems to function identically to his midair jump, they look kinda the same. I'd say Bean is strong enough without the triple bomb looking at the vanilla spin characters but its inclusion was a good idea. Felt it was odd that Amy and Fang can use shield abilities but Bean can't even use the Armageddon shield.
By the way if you hold jump and press spin you can activate triple bomb.

Okay, I just played the full mod online and I am amazed at how fun it is to play with Bean.
The Bomb ability can get a little confusing at first, but when you play it more and get used to it you start to understand it and get better with it. Absolutely one of my favorite mods, and also one of the most enjoyable times I had playing online with mods.
